Location. Not even a continental breakfast. Probably as good as any in Baton Rouge. No restaurants, not even a breakfast. I've been in Fairfield's that, in my opinion' I thought were it's equal.

We really enjoyed the Courtyard Marriott in Lafayette, LA, so we gave a try on the Courtyard in Baton Rouge, LA. The Baton Rouge Courtyard had a few friendly staff but for the most part it was pretty cold. The hot tub smelled funny like it had not been cleaned, each local call we found out cost 75 cents plus tax, Long distance calls from the rooms began at over five dollars just to dial out, plus tax. There is no wireless, just a plug in ethernet cable. The water tastes funny.

We were here to visit the LSU campus & the convenienct to the campus was GREAT...rooms were comfortable & the hotel has a very pleasant atmosphere.

Staff except for the person who put me next to the highway. Highway noise! I've stayed in nicer hotels for less. Sleeping was next to impossible with all the road noise. Do I have an invisible sign on my forehead that says. Put this guy on the crappy side of the hotel. Why they'd put anyone next to the highway, I'll never know! It would be different if they were full up! How do you get a room on the inside? (Garden side.) The hotel was pleasant, clean and the staff was courteous.

This was my first stay at a Courtyard Marriott and I was very much pleased with the hotel, but unsure about the area. I felt safe in the parking lot but the area about a block away was questionable. Upon check - in our room wasn't cleaned yet, so the lady at the front desk gave us another room - our choice of a courtyard view or a parking lot view. That was a no brainer. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and quiet. Our courtyard view was very nice as well - overlooking the pool and an outdoor garden/sitting area. We even had a balcony to sit out on. Better than looking at the freeway or the parking lot. One thing I would recommend though - a courtyard view is not suitable for children....as there are other hotel rooms facing the courtyard as well, and during our stay some people were not shy about closing their curtains after showers, and while dressing! There was free internet in our room and it worked great. The only disappointing this about staying at a marriott is there is not a free breakfast. Overall my stay was pleasant and I would stay again.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights - service was excellent - they allowed us to check in 2 hours early as we had to get ready for rehearsal dinner - answered questions about local things to do - all around great hotel - very clean too

It was very convenient to the LSU campus. The breakfast food was not great for the price. Our family was in Baton Rouge to attend graduation ceremonies at LSU. The hotel was very convenient to campus without getting into traffic on I-10. We had reservations at Juban's, a great restaurant just down the street.

My husband and our pet stayed there for about 4 weeks after hurricane Katrina. Hotel management and staff did everything in their power to help of us make us feel welcome.

Right off interstate but a little tricky to get to (you have to turn into an office complex to get to the hotel entrance). Because of this, it made this a location that felt safe and tucked away, although it is in the center of town. Very nice room and services.

It was very nice. 1st day did not sleep, because on the interstate side noisy. The 1st night was bad because we were on the interstate side and the noisy from the traffic was very loud. But they did movie us to the other side the next night and we got a good night sleep.

Washing machine and dryer but there was only one so I had to make two loads. Paint in room was two different colors. Could tell that it was painted over and carpet was worn. Was very disappointed when I walked in and further disappointed when I saw our room. It looked like a child had painted the walls as you could see new paint over old paint. Was not the same color. Toilet did not look clean.

The beds. Bath sink water pressure was too hard, splashed out. In general, the staff was great and helpful, the rooms were clean, not just in smell but feel as well. Overall we enjoyed the stay and I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Loved the Jacuzzi. This time the water was nice and hot. Courtyard here is very clean, conveniently located (although be careful when you first arrive, there is a strange left turn you need to take. Also, when you leave to back to BR, get in the left lane immediately, or you'll miss the exit). The lobby area is great, with a few computers if you need one. The internet is free, which is becoming a huge hotel expense in a lot of places. They have a nice pool and a wonderful Jacuzzi.
