We didn't spend much time there but the staff was courtesy. They had a very early morning shuttle available to get us to the airport by 5 a.m. That was what we were looking for! The room was clean, very nice decor and the bed was great!

The location was ideal compared to some of our other fellow travelers. Access to and from the airport was easy and they were very accommodating in setting up our transfer to the ship as well as information and passes to get to downtown Venice. I do not plan on taking this vacation again, so that is the only reason I would not stay at this specific Marriott.

We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott just for the convenience factor. It is just outside the airport, but not close to the train station or other means of getting into Venice itself. They do give information on the local bus options for getting to the water taxis into Venice, but if you don't know exactly where to get off, the local bus can be very confusing. The room was large and had many of the modern conveniences (fridge, movies, etc), but it was more expensive given that it is not in Venice itself. I recommend taking advantage of the breakfast included as the price by itself is pretty steep.

This hotel is conveniently located near the Marco Polo Airport, with free shuttle service to and from the airport. There's also a convenient bus stop across the street from the hotel. Line 5 takes you directly to Piazza Roma and the Santa Lucia train station. Line 15 takes you directly to the Mestre train station. Hotel is clean and comfortable.

We spent the last night of our italian holiday here and that is really all I would advise people to stay here for. The hotel is a long way (1:15 min on 25 Euro shuttle) from venice and the food was TERRIBLE. If you arrive in venice late or have an early departure this is an easy hotel, otherwise spend your money elsewhere.

We took the vaporetto from Venice to the airport and a taxi to the hotel the evening before an early flight the next day. Though the shuttles are every half hour that wasn't well publicized and we were tired and didn't want to wait. The room was comfortable, cool, and large with 2 queen beds. The bathroom was luxurious. The hotel staff very friendly and helpful. A small sundry area near the front desk has sodas, snacks, and wine by the glass. Breakfast was tasty and generous and available early at 5 am. Though it may be near the airport neither of us heard any airplane sounds our entire stay. We got our wake up call in the morning and a ride to the airport that took 5 minutes. This is a great travel hotel when in transit and for those with early flights.
