We just got back from our honeymoon at Couples Negril and it was the best vacation ever! The staff is absolutely intent on making your stay relaxing. All the staff is friendly and ready to make your dreams come true! The food is great no matter which restaurant you choose. The ONLY thing that was less than desirable was the drive from the airport. But once we got to paradise...we forgot all about the road trip! We will definitely return to this resort and recommend it to all of our friends!

The hotel was kept up very well. Every day we saw the staff clean the whole place top to bottom! The grounds keeping was immaculate. Overall a very pretty hotel. Great beach! We really enjoyed relaxing and floating in the calm waters of the Bloody Bay.

We arrived at Couples on Sept 22, for a weeklong honeymoon vacation. Our flight brought us to the MoBay airport, from there it was an hour and a half shuttle ride (provided by hotel) to the resort. Upon arrival we were greeted with cold washclothes and a glass of champgane. A very nice way to start a honeymoon! We chose the beachfront deluxe suite - it had a stunning view!! We literally stepped off our porch into the sand. Our room was very clean and the maid service was wonderful, i.e. replenishing the minibar and turndown services nightly. We spent most of our time laying on the beach utilizing the red flag services for drinks. The food is out of this world, at each and every restaurant. I couldnt pick a favorite, honestly - we ate at each one twice and they were all delicious!! Now, onto the complaints. Really the only negative thing I can say about this resort is that they allow random people to walk the beach singing songs and expecting you to tip them. They are very nice if you tell them you arent interested, but it can get a little tiring. The only other thing that was annoying was that they allowed these jet ski guys to stay right along the rope line in the ocean. Anytime you would walk out into the ocean, they would holler out at you if you'd like to for a ride. The rides we were quoted were like $45 for a half hour. They also would leave you alone if you said you werent interested, but that was kind of a drag too. Other than that, the service and the people who work at Couples are incredible! We will definitely be back to this resort, soon I hope!!!

Very Fun and Relaxing Vacation. We got to relax at the beach and the pool with a swim up bar. Catermaran excursion was very nice.

had a great time at the couples, the staff was just wonderful. there were so may things to while we were there, but just not enough time to do everything. the wedding and after party was very nice, my wife was un-aware of the audience that we had at our wedding. she turned red, as a beet. we went cliff jumping, of course i was the only foolish one to do it on our bus tour. maybe i was the only one brave enough i don't know. i strongly recommend going to couples negril, it really is a great time. lot's to do there on the resort also.

The hotel was very nice, relaxing and clean. The staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. We liked that as soon as you got there they offered champagne and cool towels for your face and hands. Our room was comfortable. The food was good, especially the breakfast buffet but we would have liked to have seen a bigger variety of food for the lunch and dinner buffets and a better snack bar. It was very limited. The non-motorized sports were great. As far as the cleaning of rooms, the times were random and not everyday. It would have been nice to know that the room would be cleaned every morning around the same time. There were times when we would leave the room early in the morning only to return around 4:30pm or 5pm and the room had not been touched and no cleaning person or cart in sight. We also didn't like the fact that we had to keep up with our beach towels. The hotel told us that it was our responsibility to keep up with the 2 beach towels for the duration of our stay. Exchanging for fresh towels when we needed but we still had to keep up with both. That was a bit annoying. A tour of the hotel was needed as well. We didn't find out all the hotel had to offer until the last day. Overall, we had a great time. I would definately recommend this hotel and I would return as well.

First vacation for my new wife and myself. Great place! Small resort but there are enough dinning opions and activities to keep you satisfied your entire trip. Staff was great and the bartenders are second to none. I would give this place my full endoresment

My husband and I had high expectations of this hotel because of an experience 2 years ago at an all-inclusive resort in Mexico. However, we were slightly disappointed at several hotel aspects. First of all, the rooms were not very spacious or well maintained for the price that you pay. Generally, garden deluxe rooms and oceanfront deluxe rooms have a very similar view so don't pay more for the oceanfront. The suites are very nice but were not worth the additional money to us. The bathrooms in the deluxe rooms leave a lot to be desired. The water pressure is bad and there is a window which allows people outside your room to hear you in the shower, which is strange to me. The beds were pretty comfortable but overall the room was nothing special. The hotel itself was nice though I found that the service was not as good here as it was in Mexico. My personal theory is that when employees are not working for tips they will not go the "extra mile" to please the guests. The beach was wonderful and was covered in natural vegetation to provide shade. The water was crystal clear and was a very comfortable temperature. Food was OK - there were 2 restaurants that outshined the others but one required a reservation and was very small so it was hard to get into. Bottom line: Check out all-inclusives in Mexico & Dominican Republic where I believe that your dollar goes MUCH farther

This place is heaven on earth. We had our wedding /honeymoon at couples negril.Everyone was amazing.I have never been to a place where the people were so friendly.It was amazing! From the minute we arrived we truly felt like we were among family and friends!

This is the second time we went to Couples Negril. The staff is fantastic. Your wish is their command. There are a lot of things to do, but this time we just took it easy. We hope to go back again.

The beach was wonderful, you could walk for a good distance. It was nice that the resort had lounge chairs set up along the beach, and each one had a floation cushion which you could take in the ocean and lay on or take it in the pool. The staff was so friendly and were there to take care of your every need. The food was great. It was so easy to just kick back and relax. I can't wait to go back.

We were very impressed with the quality and variety of food and overall value despite going between Christmas and New Years. They had any kind of alcohol you could imagine. The New Years Eve party was over the top and exceeded our expectations. The resort grounds were beautifully landscaped and the beach was amazing. The pool was a little small but had a great swim up bar. Service was extremely friendly. Access to snorkling and all the water toys was very easy. Although we only spent 10 hours a day in our room, the bathroom, room HVAC, and lighting could use some updating.

We had never been to Jamaica and I had heard quite a few negative comments in general (its dangerous there, beaches are rocky, etc.). After a bit of research we chose Couples Negril, and it was FANTASTIC! Here's why: Negril has the best beaches, and the ride there was a shuttle from the airport that took 1:15 minutes. At the airport we waited in the Couples' lounge for 5 minutes and had a drink while they loaded our luggage. The ride was fine and once at the hotel we were greeted with champagne and cold towels. Within half an hour we had checked in, eaten at the wonderful buffet, and were sitting on the beach sipping drinks. The location is perfect: everything is close to the room, plenty of activities, excellent gym, we did a catamaran ride to the caves one afternoon. Service was impeccable. The actual rooms/ facilities were probably 20 yrs old, but still first class. Food- fantastic, and Otaheite restaurant was number one, and we had to make reservations every day. I can't say enough good things about couples negril, and I forgot to mention getting the couples massage in the tree house on the beach. Choose this and you can't go wrong.

This hotel was one of the best that we stayed in. It is our first time in an all-inclusive resort and we were very happy. There was plenty to do and the water was pristine and well manacured by the hotel. They catered to our every whim. The Jamaicans were so friendly and willing to do anything to make our stay better at the resort. Would definately recommend to our friends and we plan to go back again.

Everything looked great, just ran into Gustav and all of the problems that come with a hurricane...employees could not make it to work, so restaurants were closed and all activities were grounded...food was excellent and the two days on the beach were great! (you really need sunscreen, like spf 1000) Hope to come back during non-hurricane season...

From the moment we stepped in the their lounge at the airport until we left, the staff was very friendly and informative. The beach was so nice that we never even stepped foot in the pool. The dining selection was great as well.
