Country Inn and Suites Beckley has been our preferred rest stop for north south trips for the past several years. The rooms are clean spacious and pleasently decorated. The location is easily accessable from rt 79 and is very close to Tamarac. There is a Cracker Barrel restaurant adjacent to the parking lot.....a no stress overnighter with a pool, workout room and a pretty good breakfast. They also have a lending library, you may take a book and return it to any other Country Inn location..strictly honor system...AND coffee is always on in the lobby!

The help was extremely friendly and helpful! Please put bacon on the breakfast menu. It was a wonderful traveling experience. Would use these type facilities again.

Our room was clean and a good value for the money, however the beds really weren't very comfortable. If you are exhausted, you will probably sleep fine, but the mattresses aren't the best quality. Location is good, right off the expressway. Lots of food options nearby for breakfast and/or dinner. Hotel provides a breakfast, typical fare. Lots of people taking advantage of it, but we opted to eat elsewhere after a week of hotel breakfasts! Front desk staff were pleasant and helpful.

The amenities at this hotel were great for a family. They offered a very nice breakfast with hot and cold items. The check-in and check-out were very easy and fast. The beds were decent as was the bathroom. The location allows for easy off and return to the interstate. The presence of several restaurants very close to the hotel gave us plennty of choices for eating.

Very clean, comfortable beds and rooms. Hotel room we had was near outside hot tub, little noisy but stopped at 10:00 p.m. so it was okay after that. Great hotel, we have stayed there three years in a row for a basketball tournament and we love it. Do not like to stay anywhere else. We have tried another hotel in area but liked this one the best.

For the price we paid for our room (queen with jacuzzi), I am very disappointed. The ceilings and walls must be paper thin. Either that, or a herd of water buffalo practicing high jumps were in the room above us. The heating unit warmed the room nicely, but every time it kicked off there was a squealing sound that sounded like the tires of a car peeling out. I reported this to the front desk and all I got was an "I apologize", and he took a note for maintenance. Breakfast was good and the room was clean. I guess those were the only two good redeeming qualities. This hotel has potential, but what's a room worth if you can't get any sleep in it? If you book a room there.

Room was very clean. Room was very small for the cost. Room was very clean but smaller than most hotels I've stayed at. The TV was inferior and barely watch able. The vending machines were out of order and the games in the game room were out of order. The breakfast was better than most 'free' breakfasts I've had.

Everything was great from the front staff check to check out the next morning. Will definitely return on our way through Beckley in future. Breakfast was awesome for the whole family. Relatively high cost justified by the free breakfast.

Very clean and pleasant. Rooms were a little outdated. I found it to be worth the money. Very clean. Starting to look a little old. The breakfast was very good. I would stay there again. Everyone was quite pleasant.

I was very pleased with this hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The indoor/outdoor pool was great but the indoor hot tub was not working well. The outdoor hot tub was perfect. Nice chairs around pool area allowed a nice place to relax. Rooms could use some updating and hotel was being updated while we were there. I would definetely stay again and would recommend this hotel.

We stayed here on our way home from the beach in NC. It is a very nice hotel for the price. Our room was very roomy, big bathroom and very comfortable beds. Hotel is newer and very clean. The breakfast in the morning was good. Lots to choose from. The nicest part of the hotel is the indoor and outdoor pools and the two hot tubs. The indoor pool room is very large with lots of places to sit. The kids loved the pool! I definitely would stay here again.

Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel pool was colder than I wanted. We stayed at the country inn and suites; it was an excellent value for the quality of the rooms. The staff was outstanding and went out of their way to find more ways to be helpful. The room was clean and well cared for, very spacious and attractively decorated. Even the pillows were outstanding. I appreciated the hotel feeling classy but never like my children weren't welcome. The free wife also worked seamlessly and was a real blessing.

Our stay with our 3 year old grandson was excellent! Room was clean & comfortable; it was all we could ask for. We own an overnight lodging business in Illinois, so we know how hard it is to keep the place maintained and clean....our room was very well maintained and spotless. The continental plus breakfast had just about anything you wanted to eat, and as much as you wanted. This was convenient and saved us $$, too. The indooor pool was too cool for me to enjoy, but it didn't stop my grandson; he could have swam all day. The hot tubs were my favorite. We will definitely be back!

We went down for a getaway and it couldn't have been better. The hotel is very nice and clost to everything. We had been to Beckley before but never stayed at the Country Inn. Mainly because we couldn't get a jacuzzi room. They're always booked ahead. I finally reserved one and my girlfriend and I just loved it. We used the jacuzzi multiple times during our stay and it was fantastic. We loved it and we will be back!

Hotel staff very knowledgeable about directions. Only 3 jets worked in the whirlpool, hard to regulate AC. The complimentary breakfast was very good, location is close to expressway but the rooms were quiet (no expressway noise). Hotel easy to find. Room was clean. Staff was friendly. AC was hard to regulate even when I adjusted the thermostat. Room would get overly cold.
