I was there for 3 nights on business. Even though it was next to a busy bowling alley/bar, very little noise could be heard at the hotel. Rooms were very clean, staff very friendly. As a frequent business traveler, this hotel was a great stay.

Clean and comfortable. Nothing. Very happy with my experience. Clean, comfortable accommodations and friendly staff. Can't think of any negatives from my stay.

Management and staff are extrememly difficult to work with! I would rather stay at another hotel that actually welcomes my business! It's amazing how a business like this knows nothing about customer service and could care less whether they have your business. Go to a hotel that actually appreciates you!!

We had a room + a sitting room-great! The buffet breakfast is excellent-lots of choices. We were entertaining after an event and our group of about 50 was given a special room and excellent service.

We were in the Madison area for a funeral and wanted a clean, quiet place to stay for three days. With four grandkids ages 7 thru 15 due to arrive the third day, a swimming pool was a must as well. We were very pleased with every aspect of this hotel. The front desk staff were courteous and helpful. The breakfast room was large, bright ,clean, well organized and staffed with women who seemed to take pride in keeping things neat and well stocked. I can't think of anything in the room that wasn't top notch. I believe each room has a refrigerator and microwave, coffee maker, iron and ironing board. The pool area was open 7am to 10pm and had a play area for the children with a water feature, a swimming pool and spa. All were like new. The grandkids had a great time and the parents of a few of the other children commented positively as well. The exercise room is open 24 hours plus they have a relationship with the fitness center across the street. There's a small game room, a workstation with printer in the lobby, and the wifi worked just fine anywhere I took my laptop. There was always fresh fruit and hot water and coffee available. You could walk to a couple of restaurants, a liquor store and a new bowling center. Less than half a mile is a new Target and any kind of fast food if that's what you like. We found several good sit down restaurants and a Chinese take out that delivers to the hotel. You won't need details from me, the front desk staff were happy to help. It was obvious that this place is managed properly and I took time to thank the manager when we met. We are 60+, while my daughter and family are in their late 30's and they claim they will stay there when in Madison. I did notice that because the property has a Fitchburg address, it doesn't always appear when you search for Madison hotels. It's a minute or two south of the Beltline (hwy 12/18) in a nice quiet area. I hope this is helpful.

This hotel is new so everything was fresh and clean--fresh baked cookies were great! The bad part is that the hotel is not in Madison and is not close to anything. Also, the pool with waterslide is a three foot deep pool, so no laps or general swimming. If you are hanging out in Madison and want to get away from the city then this is the hotel for you. If you are driving (I94/90 West) as we were, and want to spend the night before driving on, then find something closer to the highway because this hotel is 20 to 25 minutes away from the interstate.

From the time we entered the lobby of Country Inn and Suites it seemed like stepping into a friend's home. Our room was spacious with plenty of room to walk around the beds, and included a comfy chair by the window, a dresser, and table. The bathroom was very clean and had a nice long counter so there was a convenient place for toiletry bags. The room also contained a mini useful for longer stays. Don't count on using them for breakfast, however, as the hotel offers many delicious options. The yogurt, waffles, hard boiled eggs, omelets and sausages were wonderful additions to the sweet rolls and cereal which is often all other hotels have offered. For dinner we were charmed by the restaurant right next door which is a converted old farmhouse and stable. We ate in loft of the stable and found the food delicious. The location gives the illusion of being somewhat in the country but is actually very convenient to main roads. The Country Inn and Suites is clearly quite new and has been well maintained. It is a find!

The check-in staff was very helpful. Country Inn and Suites in Fitchburg, WI is a very good place. The room was clean and well appointed and the breakfast was phenomenal as were the 24 hr. cookies!

The Country Inn & Suites By Carlson was very comfortable. The room seemed much larger than expected with a desk area and a reading area and two chairs. There was a sink with a decent space counter and was adequate space for hanging clothes for one person. There was only one suitcase stands. The only thing I didn't like about the hotel is that there was no restaurant/bar and a store. There is a restaurant that is about 5 minutes walking distance and a bowling ally next to it. There was also a cheese/sausage store that is a walking range of about 10 minutes. Target was about a block away. There was another restaurant that is about 10 minutes + walking range but coming from a warm weather, I couldn't walk in the cold weather more than 10 minutes. I would recommend to rent a car unless you are willing to walk in the cold, windy weather.

Spacious and clean room, free high speed internet, free breakfast. None. My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night during our visit to Wisconsin. The room was spacious and well-appointed, we used the free high speed internet, and we took advantage of the breakfast provided in the morning. The breakfast included continental-style items, a waffle maker, and a few items that could be heated in the microwave (omelets). Great value and wonderful stay overall!

Convenient location, friendly staff. Mini-Fridge in room didn't work. Completely worth the money. I don't have kids, but if I did, they would have loved this place with the indoor pool/water features. Also very clean and comfortable beds. I would definitely stay here again.

Loved the decrotations and the cookies out at night. Thin walls and we were next to a loud person. The hotel was very warm and inviting with the decorations and the cookies. The room was warm and roomy. I would recommend this to my family and friends.

Nice breakfast. Nothing. Nice, comfortable hotel and location a bit out of the way.
