Great continental breakfast. Very helpful staff. Hotel was conveniently located off of the highway.

There were lots of room. Nothing to say. Perfect for skiing!

We were in town to visit our daughter's family that had moved to South Jordan in January. The room is very comfortable and the breakfast was good too. The staff was extremely helpful and made sure we were informed of any problems they had that could lead to an inconvenience. We were never inconvenienced by anything at the hotel. We did read the newspapers that were provided with the room. The hotel made our first visit to the Salt Lake City area pleasant and reduced traveling stress! The pool was closed for the first 3 days we were there. My wife never saw the fitness center so she used the machines at community center in the housing development where our daughter lives. We had a nice stay in South Jordan.

Everyone was very courteous. My kids loved the indoor pool/hot tub and breakfast. There is plenty of nearby restaurants and shopping. We used it as home base for skiing and it worked out well. Two Complaints: * If you?re a light sleeper, try to get a room on the west side of the hotel. The train rumbles the room every time it goes by. No worries if you?re not. * The local TV channels are very fuzzy.

It was a nice hotel in a nice location for our needs of travel. However, the RR tracks run right next to it, and all night long, trains are rumbling by -- not pleasant. The first time one went by, I thought maybe they were grinding down the hotel parking lot outside my room. Nope, just freight train engines screaming past. The pool is miniscule, but pleasantly heated. The hot tub is great. BUT, there was so much chlorine in the air that it burned the eyes and made half of us cough. Oh well. Rooms were clean and tidy. Excellent mattresses. Front desk guy was abrupt and less than friendly, but never rude. Housekeeping was quick and efficient.

It was very comfortable, quiet and convenient to get to and from. I would stay there again because it was very comfortable.

spent a little more for a mini suite which turned out to be worth it. Very comfortable and nice. Wireless internet which I passed on since it was not encrypted, but was able to directly connect with a CAT5 cable and surf for local informaiton. We enjoyed our stay.

One of the most friendly hotels we have stayed in. Room was large clean and the view out our window was worth the stay. Hotel staff were the best we have encountered in all of our vacations. Would highly recommend to others and my wife and I will be back in the near future.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Each of them was helpful in making my stay pleasant. The only thing wrong was the bathroom door could not be open at the time you were opening the room door. I enjoyed my short stay at this Country Inn very much. The staff was all very helpful and courteous. I had stayed there once before and it was the same way. The rooms are always clean and the location is excellent for anything in South Salt Lake. It has easy access to all parts of Sandy and West Jordan, and is a short drive away from many other areas.

Room was beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable. The sofa bed in the suite needed pillow and blankets. Would definitely stay again.

My family really enjoyed our stay at The Country Inn & Suites by Carlson. We stayed two nights and enjoy the room. It was comfortable, clean and roomy. The breakfast was the best.

Hotel was new and clean, location was in a good area. Non smoking room, but Bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke, too close to noisy railroad tracks. The hotel is a pretty good except for two issues I had. All rooms were non-smoking which is normally a plus for me as I am slightly allergic to cigarette smoke. Unfortunately, the room I got smelled like cigarette smoke, even after they sprayed it with room freshener. Also, this hotel is in a convenient location, but unfortunately it is also right next to some railroad tracks and the noise from trains woke me up several times. The windows should be better soundproofed considering the location the hotel was built in. Other than that, the rooms are clean, pleasant and the staff is also pleasant and helpful.

we enjoyed everything about the stay except that they did not offer Fox News Network and therefore my husband will not stay there again

I'm always pleased with my stay at the Country Inn & Suites By Carlson (in Salt Lake City), SOUTH JORDAN, UT. I've been there 3 times now on business trips. And it's nice to not have to worry about where I'm staying. The rooms are big. There's ample work space with the in-room table/desk (I did say I go there on business trips), a reliable high speed wireless connection in the room and a well equipped business center on the main floor if needed.)And just as important, the beds and pillows are very comfortable. Their service is good too. I needed to use their dry cleaning service one time (pressing some shirts), and they did a good job and did it on time as they promised. I'll definitely stay there again. And if I'm out there on a non-business trip, I'd stay there as well. (On a side note: it's very close to a grocery store if you need to pick some things up.)

The Breakfast was really nice. The staff could have been friendlier. The rooms were nicely sized, bathrooms also. The lobby is really nice and the coffee/hot cocoa stand is nice to have going all the time. The breakfast room is large and offers many choices.

Clean, comfortable, well decorated. Train too close. Warm comfortable settings, clean rooms and dinning area. Breakfast was just right. The bed was perfect, along with the pillows.

Huge room, super comfortable beds and the most awesome breakfast. Hard to find in the dark, but hotel staff helped talk me in. This hotel is awesome; I've stayed here before and was happy to go back. The beds are extremely comfortable, it is so clean and everything is just fresh, fresh, and fresh! There are computers available for guests, the pool is great. Kids had fun but would be great for business as well.

Cleanliness. Blow dryer did not work properly. Overall, very satisfied with visit. The blow dryer in the room continued to shut off while I was trying to use it. Room was comfortable; location was convenient to our office. Staff was friendly.

The lobby area is very cozy. I did not enjoy the train that goes by and shakes the hotel! I was a little disappointed because I wasn't aware that I was getting a handicapped room. They said I could come down the next day a switch if they had something else available but I didn't want to move twice.
