we just stayed in the wrong part of town. every night there was fighting in the back parking lot. the second night there was a fight in the hallway

Clean, comfortable andfriendly. The front desk staff was friendly, but the location was not the best.

Nice place to stay in a part of town with little atmoshpere around it. Limited restaurants nearby as this was built in a poorer section of town. The rooms were good but bathrooms had no exhaust fans to pull out hot steamy air from a shower. The rooms were very sound proof as we heard no noises at all during the night. The breakfast was from 6 to 9:30 and by 8:30 very little was left to choose from. Saw no one in the eating area to ask if more could be brought out. The rooms were very clean.

I have nothing to complain about it. We were able to sleep like in our own bed at home very confortable, and specially quiet. Nice breakfast. We went for the Tulip Festival,we drove for 30 min. to get there but it was all fun. Kids enjoyed a lot.

The front desk lady called to see if my room was alright, that was cool. I couldn't see the door from my bed. That's it, really. Great stay- met all of our needs. Well done.

Pros: This is a newly built hotel and it is in good condition as one would expect. Housekeeping did a good job keeping things clean. Cons: the wireless internet signal was weak and unusable. The signal from the hotel next door was actually stronger in my room. Only book this hotel for a clean place to sleep. It is in a rather run down neighborhood.

The room at the Country Inns & Suite was comfortable, clean and homey. It was in a good location for our needs and close to shopping, restaurants, etc. I would recommend this hotel to others.

Beautifully large rooms with comfortable beds. Rude night staff. Tried to get a towel and it was a huge hassel. This is a beautiful hotel. It looks to be reciently built and it has a nice design. The room was larger than expected with comfortable furnature. The high speed internet was easy to connect to and very useful. The staff for the most part was friendly and helpful when asked about local fun. The area is undergoing massive construction which made it a huge pain to get to and from the hotel and the expressway. Also the hotel did not seem to be built in a very good part of town. Surrounding the hotel was also ugly buildings. If you are looking for a place that is beautiful around the hotel look elseware.

I stayed at the Country Inn & Suites for a confrence. The room was clean& pretty nice for the price. The neighborhood was not the best. The staff was nice. The beds were fairly comfrotable, but the pillows were flat. When we asked for additional pillows we were told no. So they are slightly lacking in the customer service arena. Overall not a bad experience.

Location was great. Halls smelled horribly of cigarette smoke and the beds weren't very comfortable. The hotel staff was wonderful and helpful. The appearance when you first walk in is quite attractive. Our room was clean and comfortable for the most part. However, the floor we stayed on smelled of cigarette smoke and it was very strong. And the beds could have been a lot more comfortable.

The Country Inn was really a cozy place to be.The lobby was warm and the basket of cookies on the counter kept me coming back. Stayed for two day's, checked out for two day's, and was glad to get back. Changed up to the king size bed with a nice hide a bed in the couch. Plenty of room for my grand baby to practice his first steps!!Every staff person said hello and seemed like everyone was just glad to be working there! We would gladly stay again!!

The Bathroom and Room was exceptionally clean! I think I upset the hotel clerk in the morning when I need the gym unlocked. I enjoyed my stay it was great price for the cost of most hotels in the area and was very clean! The coffee maker was awesome.

room was clean and neat. staff was helpful finding my way to shoping and golf course.

Clean, friendly, organized, courteous & kind. Area of Grand Rapids it is in is a bit run-down and seedy feeling. A well-run facility; very friendly and welcoming for a weary traveler. Family friendly, clean, well-stocked an all-around good place for our family to meet in the middle.

From check in to breakfast and driving direction the hotel staff were all friendly and helpful. The facility was very well maintained and operated

Everything The hotel was great. I was surprised to find that there was a couch and sitting area. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. I don't know if I've ever had the accommodations for the price at another hotel. The neighborhood is a little undesirable, but being right off the expressway makes it very convenient.

The location and price were great! Nothing, it was a great experience. I will recommend this hotel to friends and family. We had a great room for the price and the hotel offered a nice breakfast and had very nice accommodations. We could not be happier with our experience.

The rooms was spotless, furniture all brand new. Pleasant surprise, very clean, new brand new hotel. Rooms were spotless. Housekeeping did a great job. I left them a tip I was so impressed.

Very clean hotel. Down pillows. Stiff comforters. This hotel was very nice and exceeded our expectations. Very good price for the amount we got.
Date of Stay:
March, 2007
There was lots of room. Internet service was difficult to engage. The room was spacious and was a good bang for the buck. I did not have any problems and the staff was helpful and friendly. I did not eat breakfast at the hotel, but you could smell it throughout the place. Easy checkin, the one thing I would complain about was that the parking lot was not plowed and there was a lot of ice. If you aren't staying in the winter, you are all set.
