at the hotel was great....as soon as we checked out...they started charging my credit card the amount that they should have been charging orbitz. over 600 dollars!!! [...] (manager) cannot explain charges other than "its a simple mistake done by the cashier who accidently charged the incorrect card" 4 times!!! they are very very disorganized and cannot explain why they are taking the money. i have filed reports with ftc, bbb, and the police. be very very careful when considering this hotel!!!!!

The free continental breakfast was very good. The hotel started out with 3 computers for guest use, by the third day none of the computers were working.

Our overall stay was great for the price we paid. The carpet needed to be updated as did the refrigerator. The staff was very friendly and accommodating!!!

Convenience to Sanibel Island. Many children unsupervised at breakfast. Country Inn and Suites is a strong moderate property, very clean, attractive grounds, extremely helpful/efficient front desk personnel (Odalis, Alison), and convenient to be the gateway to Sanibel Island, Florida. The location is almost at the entrance to the cause way and worth staying at if you'd like a good price that's lower than the Sanibel Island properties, yet within easy driving distance.

My dad and I stayed at this hotel in March of '09, after having stayed here about 4 years prior. We had remembered it being a very nica and clean hotel with continental breakfast. It still has the continental breakfast, however, the hotel is not as clean as I remember. The bathroom had a mildew kind of smell that digusted me everytime I had to use it. The shower had mildew spots in the corners by the wall. The morning after our first night in the hotel I requested that housekeeping pay special attention to the bathroom so it didn't smell anymore. The manager was very nice about the complaint and notified housekeeping immediately, but the housekeeper failed to clean it any better. Staff was exceptionally friendly, but I would not stay here again until they do a renovation.

Front desk staff extremely helpful. Very comfortable beds and rooms. Breakfast was a little too crowded made for shortage of certain breakfast items. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. After moving from another hotel in Fort Myers, due to the seedy location and mildew smelling rooms, we were thrilled with the bright, clean rooms at Country Inn & Suites. We felt very safe and secure at this location. The grounds were beautifully kept, and the staff were extremely helpful with recommendations of restaurants and driving directions. We will definitely stay here again!

Discount mall very close, nice golf course next door, minutes from Sanibel Island and Captiva Island, The Ding Darling nature preserve, and the Green Flash Restaurant. Also very close to Ft,Myers Beach and all of its attractions, altogether, a very nice place to stay.

Friendly staff and clean room. Breakfast was not very good. Generally it was a enjoyable stay and there are many facilities for customers. There were not many choices for breakfast though.

This hotel is great! We would definately stay here again. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was great, they even had snacks and cookies out at night. Close to Ft. Myers Beach and Sanibel Island, and we went to Key West for a day. The Key West Express boat we took is very close to the hotel and it was very convenient. The rooms are spacious, clean, and quiet. The price is also very reasonable! I recommend this hotel to anyone, it's definately worth it!

Not only the hotel room was clean, but the hotel over all was clean and decorated nicely. Enjoyed staying at this hotel, location was great to any section of Ft. Myers, especially Sanibel Island and Pine Island. Close to shopping, restaurants. The interior and exterior of this hotel was very clean. Complimentary breakfast was great. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful they printed out driving directions from Ft. Myers to Orlando.

Friendly Staff. Clean and Quiet! The pool was small, but not crowded. The Fitness Center only has tread mills, no weights to lift. Ample parking, with easy access to the parking lots. Fantastic Continental Breakfast. Nice Laundry Room. The rooms are spacious with big bathrooms and nice views.

Great location, quick efficient check-in, and comfortable room. Bathroom could use some upgrading. Provides what is expected for value and comfort - comfortable standard room, efficient check-in from friendly staff, convenient breakfast in a great location minutes from the bridge to Sanibel Island and Fort Myers Beach. Bathroom could use an upgrade, but was clean with plenty of towels.
