Conveniently located near I-35 and Ninth Street, Country Inn & Suites Salina is approximately four miles from the airport. Guests are encouraged to utilize the indoor heated pool and whirlpool, or full workout room. Every morning, a complimentary breakfast is served, along with a free morning newspaper. The hotel also has a business office with Internet access, laundryroom, and meeting room. Country Inn & Suites Salina is located near I-135 and Ninth Street, close to shopping and several restaurants. The hotel is directly behind Tucson's Restaurant. Municipal Golf Course is six miles from the hotel, Bicentennial Center and the tennis courts are four miles from the hotel, bowling and miniature golf are three miles, Rolling Hills Wildlife Refuge is 12, Salina Speedway is 10, and Smoky Hills winery and vineyards are about seven miles from the hotel. The Greyhound Bus terminal is three miles away. Each room is equipped with coffeemaker, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, dataport, and cable television. Toiletries are available at the front desk (complimentary). Handicap-accessible rooms are available.

This hotel was excellent from the moment we checked in. From the friendly staff to the clean and comfortable room, we felt that this hotel reflected the friendliness and attitude of the city of Salina.

Free breakfast. A/Cdidn't work, was more of a one star. This place is a one star only but free breakfast was nice.

my family loved this place. The hotel was clean, the beds were comfortable. the hotel provided nice and hot breakfast in the morning. the person serving the breakfast was courteous and extremely efficient. I would highly recommend this hotel..

I was to stay on a business trip, however I was told since it was cooler outside, the room air conditioning would not work. I had called the front dest upon my arrival to ask why the air conditioning was not working. I was told since it was cooler outside the air conditioning would not work. The room I was in had a west exposure, the curtains had been open at my arrival late Sunday night. The room was probably 73 degrees F.. The air conditioning in the lobby was working just fine when I checked in. I'm sure this would be an okay place to stay if you don't mind hot stuffy hotel rooms. I checked out immediately. At least I wasn't charged for being in the room for 5 minutes.

My co-workers and I were sent to a conference in Salina. They are smokers so I was hard pressed to find accommodations that were big enough for us to stay in 1 room and that they could smoke. It was very nice upon arrival. Beautiful lobby, lovely staircase, I was impressed at first. We get our room key and head upstairs. We open our smoking room and are blasted with the stale smoke smell. Yes, we did ask for a smoking room but, there was no attempt to get rid of the smell. We dropped our stuff and opened the window and went out for dinner. When we returned it was still present but not AS bad. We called the front desk and they said there was nothing they could do. We then called Travelocity and they called the front desk, who again basically said there was nothing they could do. Although they did send us some "smoke eraser" spray that smelled worse than the smoke. Basically they said they clean the room once a month with some type of machine that takes "all the oxygen out of the room". They clain they couldn't even have staff in there. PLEASE! Anyway first stay at Country Inn will certainly be my last stay.

Did not get our handicapped accesible room. When I complained, I was told ""that is what you get when you book off the internet."" Manager even refused to offer discount as clerk requested. Room was unclean. My father in-law could not manuever his wheelchair or even close the bathroom door. Very disappointing!

Location was perfect. I have stayed there several times but this was the worst weekend staff as was very rude.

Since all hotels were booked in McPherson we took a chance in Salina. We found this hotel very clean with a very good location to interstate and lots of restaurants. The staff was great (very friendly and helpful) and the morning breakfast was well above what we normally experience. When we checked in at about 7pm they also had snacks and cookies for guests. What a treat! Would definitely stay here again!

Clean, modern, new hotel in Salina. Nice rooms, convenient location among good restaurants including Tucson's Steakhouse, one of the best places in town according to the people at the airport. Staff was courteous and helpful. Included breakfast was good.

Hotel from staff to room and swimming pool were wonderful. I wish they had a small fridge. This is a great hotel. The breakfast in the morning was decent, and the hotel itself was very clean, the staff very friendly, and close to everywhere I needed to go. I would stay there again.

Hotel is not pet friendly, yet, listed on this site. Horrible customer service. Forced to pay 20.00 per night for pet.

It had beds. No non-smoking rooms stunk, grossly overcrowded at breakfast, location inconvenient. Keep driving!

The decor was very tasteful and not over done. I loved the fireplace with the reading area. Fun place with very friendly people. Loved the breakfast choices. Very well presented. Cold food was cold and hot food was hot and tasty. Good coffee.

Books and tapes were available to check out. The walls were thin. The elevator made a noise in my room. This Country Inn & Suites was just like all of the other CI&S.

Outstanding breakfast with varied choices. Scum in the hot tub. Only negative was the upkeep of the water quality in the pool and hot tub. I'm a little fussy about this. The rest of the cleanliness was outstanding.

Friendly and clean liked the view from our room. the decor was nice and the room felt comfortable. Not enough water psi in the shower.TV was small. Everything was very clean. The night we came back from dinner with a bottle of wine and to my surprise they had a corkscrew and wine glasses for us with no problem.
