We went to a concert at the Excel Energy Center. Great location to the Excel. The rooms were very nice with a nice front porch area where you could sit down outside. The breakfast room was very nice and great food--french toast, waffles, muffins, hard-boiled eggs and juices and toast and bagels. More than the usual places that have the continental breakfast. Staff were very nice.

Everyone in the family (two kids - 19 & 22 yrs)enjoyed the stay. The price was great and our expectations were exceeded. Very clean, very quiet, and a nice central location. The only slight negative was that the fitness center was a little small. If we ever went to the St Paul area again, I would definitely seek out this hotel.

Easy to find and great continental breakfast. Bathroom faucet dripped. Nice and clean hotel. Conveniently located.

The staff in were friendly. However the Country Inn and Suites had the following amenities. 1) A refrigerator in every room 2) A microwave in every room 3) A Continential breakfast. (A diverse enough menu to satisfy anyone) 4) Close parking 5) Quiet rooms 6) Large rooms with more counter space in the bathroom. 7) A closet 8) A luggage rack 9) A nice restaurant/bakery across the street 10) A sports bar in the same parking lot and 11) Another restaurant a half a block away.

hotel was clean and staff very helpful, rooms were ready and had beautiful suites close to restaurants and shopping mall and had internt access, pool, hot tub, bbq patio. i would highly recommend this property for family or couples, business.
