Nice place, good people! Remember it is a non_smoking facility...

Location and cleanliness. Curtains did not close, couldn't make room dark enough to sleep.

What a great hotel and location! There are several eating establishments within walking distance and also a variety of others just one exit up. There is even a movie theatre behind the facility if you care to chill out in front of the big screen or send the kids there so you can enjoy some peace and quiet back at the hotel. The hotel staff was very nice and even the maintenance personnel greeted me in the morning. The breakfast is always great and the beds are super comfy. I had business in the area and sought out this hotel based on my personal experiences with this franchise. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

we had a very relaxing time and a good nights sleep!

Nice room, good staff. Breakfast was lacking. Very clean hotel. Nice facilities, looked like they are refurbishing the hotel.

Staff was very friendly and prompt in taking care of our requests. The pool was freezing & the hot tub wasn't working properly. The carpet in our room was bare in a couple of spots-window shade had a hole and looked smoke stained in a non smoking room. Rather disappointed in the hotel.

The location was good. The rooms were not very clean. The cleaning service was bad. This hotel needs to improve it's amenities. We didn't have enough toilet paper for three people. The room, especially the bathroom was not clean when we got there and was not any better the morning after the cleaning crew came through. They left one small bottle of shampoo, no other bathroom products. Fruit selection on breakfast buffet was old. It is really a 1.5 star hotel.

"The kids loved the pool. The breakfast had several offerings, perfect for special diets or fussy eaters. The staff were attentive and easygoing."

Excellent location. The heat could not be regulated in my room. Either way too hot or freezing cold. For the price, it was fine. My only complaint was even when the heat was set on the lowest level, the room was extremely hot. When turned off, the room quickly became freezing cold since the outside temp was around 10 degrees. I was up all night long adjusting the thermostat.

Easy to get to, convenient location. Very understaffed, no coffee, dated décor. Very dated decor, not attractive rooms at all. Only one person on staff at check in with a sold out night doesn't really seem to make sense. Continental breakfast was out of everything, and no hotel should ever be out of coffee!

It was a hotel that made you feel comfortable-small town friendly. Nothing. The hotel met my expectations. It was friendly, clean, and easy to access. The morning breakfast was extremely nice with a lot of variety.

Great location. Hotel showing a lot of wear and tear. It's adequate.

Location. Dirty, smelly, well worn. Surprisingly poor facility for a comfort inn @ suites, which is usually my choice to stay at when traveling. Hotel is well worn and in need of a renovation. Worn and dirty carpets everywhere. Wall coverings peeling and torn. What made my stay unpleasant was the stuffy musty smell of the place especially the room.

Great location and very friendly and efficient staff. Afternoon cookies and beverages were a nice touch! Minimal breakfast choices. Very clean hotel with an efficient and friendly staff. Great location being near movie theaters, restaurants, shopping and freeway. Rooms are very quiet with no outside noises. Hotel smells nice and there is an inviting fire in the fireplace in the evening to sip tea and eat cookies by. This is the second year we've stayed here and plan to return to this hotel on our next visit!

Nice looking, friendly and home like. Not quite as clean as would like in the bathroom. Was basically a very nice place. All my stays at this type of hotel have been very nice. Warm cookies in the lobby and very friendly staff.

Excellent restroom amenities - curved shower rod, etc. We first stayed in a Country Inn & Suites in Burnsville, MN, and weren't that excited. When we got to the hotel in Owatonna, we were pleasantly surprised - as it had newer, better restroom features; the hotel also had a pool and hot tub, very friendly staff, and a great location. The breakfast was great, and included delicious belgian waffles. Would definitely stay there again.

Excellent location and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Smoking rooms very stale smelling, and shared hallways with non-smoking rooms I would be glad to stay at this hotel in the future, the staff was accomodating regarding room requests and worked to make my stay the best it could be!

close to the interstate highway Whoever cleaned our room left the door open afterwards. Other than our door being left open after our first night, everything was fine. Fortunately nothing was stolen.

clean, quiet Breakfast area was too small. Healthier selection of food would be good - too much starch and sweet food. Pillows were uncomfortable.
Date of Stay:
March, 2005
free breakfast, cozy lobby, friendly staff This hotel was a very good value. The staff was very helpful with directions and information. It was very clean and the breakfast was excellent.
