Waited a long time to be checked in desk. Given wrong room the first time. Only 1 door in hotel working-safety issues.

We came to Norman for OU Family weekend, and this hotel was perfect for our needs. The staff was friendly and helpful from the minute we checked in until we checked out. Our room and the entire hotel was so clean and neat. The breakfast was wonderful and our teenage son said the large TV and wireless internet was awesome! We were able to get this room at the last minuite (probably due to a cancellation) so we didn't know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised, and I will definitely try to book this hotel for our next stay in Norman. I want to thank the ladies at the fron desk for their help and kindness.

Even though I paid thru Orbitz the night manager still charged my card and then refused to reverse the charges telling me I'd have to wait until the next day. The next morning it took 1/2 hour to check out and get the charges reversed on paper, it then took almost a week the get the charges dropped from my account.

We had easy check-in with friendly staff. The indoor pool and hot tub were nice and clean, as was the room. The bed was way too firm, just like sleeping on the floor. All my family complained about not sleeping well because of it. We did have a problem on check-out, as the staff slipped a receipt under our door that showed a different price than what we were charged. Free breakfast was nice, with a good assortment of items from which to choose. If you like really firm beds, you will like this place.

Very roomy with comfortable beds. Good view out the back sliding door. It was a great location in that were several restuarants within walking distance with a lot of choices. One of the best buffet breakfasts' I've ran across. The indoor pool was a nice amenity. Our grandkids came over and had a lot of fun.

Overall we were very happy with our stay. The only reason the room didn't get an excellent rating is because the electricity went out in our bathroom when we started showering on the morning of our departure - really dark! The staff when we checked in was great. Normally I do self check out but since I needed to report the electricity being out I went to the Front Desk to check out. A sign was posted that they would be right back, they were busy helping a guest. Well I waited for about 10 minutes before ringing the bell and someone from the breakfast area asked if I had been helped and I said no. She told me maybe the clerk was outside. After waiting another 5 minutes a young lady came in WITH HER CIGARETTES and said can I help you. No sorry for your wait or anything. She wasn't helping a guest she was smoking - I was a little irritated so I asked her if she had just been outside smoking while I had been waiting. She responded with irritation at me that yes she had. Her tone was like, what are you gonna do about it?! It wouldn't have bothered me if she had been more professional and apologized for the wait or something but she acted like she was doing me a favor just being there. I have worked in the service industry for 30 years and would never respond to a customer they way she did. I was friendly when I addressed her because I know how hard it is to deal with irritating customers and I didn't want to be one. Other than that encounter our stay was lovely.

This is a very nice hotel. The rooms were super clean and comfortable. The staff friendly and helpful. The pool area is larger than indoor pools in comparable hotels. Its located only minutes from OU. 24 hour coffee is available in the lobby, as well as cookies and snacks. We'll definitely stay there again.

Hotel is located right off main highway. Check in was quick and we were welcomed with cookies. The room was very clean and comfortable. Continental Breakfast was tasty and quite satisfying. Pool area was clean and relaxing. Plenty of restaurants in the immediate area. Very nice hotel!!

Booked a room for one night for me and my sweetie and we ended up staying two nights! This is a very nice hotel! They have a very nice and comfortable lounge area with a bookshelf with books for the whole family to borrow. Nearby they have an eating area where they serve an awesome continental breakfast, has a big screen TV and excellent for eating order out meals and watching the game! The staff is absolutely helpful and friendly! Excellent clean rooms complete with internet hookups!The only two things that I could find "wrong" is there is no onsite cafe or an elevator. This place is situated right in the middle of lots of restaurants and delivery food is awesomely fast. They have lots of handicaped rooms on the bottom floor, so unless they are booked, that won't matter either.I'm from Norman and I've stayed in lots of hotels and motels in the OKC area, but this one is a keeper for me!

We stayed here while visiting family in Norman. The staff was very nice and the room was beyond our expectations. It is centrally located and had a nice wooded area behind the building that was a lovely view. The room was spacious and very clean. the bathroom was nice also with marble counters. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel itself was very quiet. Breakfast was very good. I liked this hotel very much and would recommend it to anyone.

This was our first time here for our Aniversary and i had forgot a corkscrew for some nice German wine. The desk clerk got us one really fast and was very helpful. They bake FRESH cookies all day which are great, good breakfast & FRIENDLY people. They are located one exit from the Riverwind Casino so it was nice to go play for awhile then come back & relax, Overall Good value for the money! Will definitly stay there again!

The Country Inn & Suites Norman is a nice hotel, but the staff had trouble overcoming obstacles. The hotel is close to the Univ of Oklahoma and is on a long highway access road that provides access to many good restaurants and the Sooner mall. The room was spacious for my purposes and clean, as it appeared to be a fairly new property. The bathroom was larger than most. The cable TV provided more channels tham many hotels I stay at. The breakfast was OK, standard fare like make your own waffles, cereal, fruit and processed juices and coffee mostly. I did have some problems that should have been easier to solve. For one, it took 4 attempts by the front desk staff to get my phone capable of local calls. I just wanted to order a pizza! Other than that, my stay was pleasant and the staff was nice. If their rates for business travelers decreased $20-$30, I would recommend the hotel.
