Friendly staff. Easy access to freeway. Hotel was clean but just at the point where it looked like it was in the need of some redecorating.

Liked the free breakfast bar.

The Country Inn was a great choice for my 2-day business trip to Michigan City. The room was quiet, clean, comfortable. Staff was friendly. I didn't eat the continental breakfast so cannot comment.

Stayed one night with 2 younger daughters. Easily acessible to outlet mall and communter train bound to Chicago. Pool was smaller than other hotels we've stayed in before, but it was clean and towels readily available. Staff friendly, and free breakfast was adequate as well.

The staff was not pleasant at all, upon arrival and during our stay. They don't say hello when they see you. They gave us a handicapped room with alot of room on one side of the room and not a chair to sit on. The breakfast bar was not very good, some people don't eat certain things and they had poor selection of fruit. The lady attending the food bar was removing the food before closing time and while people where still eating. The value for the hospitality was terrible. We will not stay there again nor will we recommend this to anyone.

I liked the location close to the major freeway. I did not like the location close to the elevator. I felt the hotel was comfortable and safe with a great location. I would stay there again.

Easy on and off the express way. Road into hotel was in terrible shape. Worked well for our short stay.

The hotel is located on the south side of Michigan city, near the interstate. It is sort of difficult to find since it is not located on the main road, rather it is located behind another hotel, restaurant (Culvers) and a gas station. The inside of the hotel was acceptable, the rooms where clean and the hotel seemed well maintained. However, the location of the hotel was _BAD_. At several times during our stay, there where cars that where "muffler challenged" -- Probably a pizza delivery or something like that. The client?le present where loud -- several times people where yelling down the halls. Maybe it is just too close to the interstate, maybe its a poor city. I don't care, I'll find some place else next time if at all possible.Lastly, it suffered the same problem almost every hotel does --- those AWFUL air conditioner/heater units. Why can't they have a setting where the fan runs constantly!!!

Good cookies. Clean, courteous staff, would stay there again.

This is a pretty typical Country Inn and Suites. However, my room had a constant rumbling noise coming from the other side of the wall. I thought about asking to move but didn't for personal reasons. When I checked out and the desk clerk asked how things were, I told her about the noise. It was clear, though, that she would do nothing about it and really didn't care. The complimentary breakfast was also typical. However, I got a little sick after eating the brakfast sausages.

Clean andeasy to find. Room door was hard to close.

Liked what we saw in the pictures and we were never disappointed. The reception and rooms were immaculate and whilst it was really only a place to rest our heads, the kids enjoyed the pool facilities and the complimentary breakfasts were of a high standard.Definitely, stay here again.I would also recommend the Country Inn and Suites in Holland, Michigan which was of a similar high standard.

Conveniently located and very clean. The drive way to the hotel is almost impassable due to the potholes. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Would recommend to friends due to the cleanliness and convenience of location.

This was a great place to stay. I was very impressed by the rooms and the entrance way. Both were very clean and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

Location and cleanliness. The road out front was full of potholes. Nice friendly staff. Clean, large rooms. Great location and near Culvers for my ice cream late night cravings.

The best hotels in Michigan City. I have stayed at many Country Inns and Suites and they are usually very nice and comfortable.
