Was there to visit Madison and this was cheaper and a short drive from downtown. Very nice, helpful, friendly staff. Average amenities, no hotel restaurant. Walking distance to a couple restaurants if you don't want to venture far. Overall, it was a nice, stress free trip. Would go back if you need a cheap and nice place to stay in the area.

The fact that the pool, exercises and game rooms were available 24 hours. Nice clean place with friendly service. I have a ministry conference to plan and I've greatly considered hosting at The Country Inn.

Not hard to get to from the aiprpot and only minutes from downtown. This appears to be a newer facility and is neat and clean. Good breakfast and the rooms were reasonably quiet.

Clean, comfortable and staff polite and prompt. Continental breakfast might require a short wait for certain items. The staff was prompt and polite. The rooms clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast included eggs and sausage, but you might have to wait a bit while more was cooked up during peak times.

Decor was very nice! Toilet in my room overflowed! I was greeted nicely, the hotel was very nice - I would stay there again. However, I had the toilet overflow on my feet - and there was no plunger. I didn't have time to call the desk/report as I was leaving early in the morning.

We found that it felt like a home away from home, we were visiting our son and really enjoyed the location, the facilities and all that the hotel had. I honestly cannot think of anything at this time. This was a very conveniently located hotel in Madison, very clean, great breakfast in the am, very nice fresh fruit at all times, also great cookies, room very comfortable. Also like the pool facilities and the workout room. Would like to return and would recommend to others.

Location in relationship to UW Madison. Difficult to get to off the 12-18 Westbound. I had two rooms. I feel the customer service rep does not know the procedures on extending rooms or how to speak with customers. If he was my employee, I'd move him to the mail room! I do not feel comfortable recommending to friends or family.

Hotel was very clean and new, a great experience compared to many others. Breakfast buffet was good but crowded, and they stopped refilling things well before it ended. This was a quick "get out of dodge" trip for my wife and I, coming from Chicago. We enjoyed it very much. Cleanliness was not an issue, and the employees were friendly and helpful. The room was very nice given the price, comfortable beds, in room fridge & microwave, fan in bathroom. Our room faced onto a small cove of lake Monona behind the hotel, very scenic. Also, we arrived 2 hours before posted check in time and they had our room waiting for us.

Convenient location. Front desk staff person. Overall my stay was good. Did not receive recepit of the stay and did not realize that until I had driven away. The person at the front desk stated I was good to go and I guess I did.

Conveniently located, quiet and comfortable. Didn't find anything in the 2 nights I was there. Would have to know to stay on backside of hotel as the front faced a busy highway.

The physical layout of the building was very pleasant. The atmosphere atthe hotel was relaxing. The pool was open 24 hours/day. The room was well furnished. The breakfast was enjoyable--plenty of room to sit, good variety of food, and good tasting. Also, it was easy to get to the hotel.

The pool was open 24 hours per day Not a lot of dining right around it. Overall this hotel surpassed my expectations. The beds were very comfortable, the staff was very nice, and the breakfast was better than most.
