The Country Inn and Suites by Carlson-Lexington, KY was a wonderful place to stay. The morning breakfast included country biscuits, gravy and even sausage and eggs. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was clean, updated, centrally located, and comfortable. You can't find a better hotel in Lexington than this one for the reasonable rates.

Convenience and cleanliness. Pool was very small.

Country Inn Suites had an excellent location, central for both places to eat and shopping, and was very convenient for getting on and off the interstate as well as traveling into downtown. Our trip required a very packed schedule - and the pool and whirlpool were clean and available to relax during those few moments of inactivity. Both the food and staff at breakfast were EXCEPTIONAL. The cleaning staff kept the rooms beautiful and the beds provided an excellent sleep.

Size of room, good staff, and great pool. Noisy that evening doors shutting in middle of night a lot. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. I have been staying at Country Inn Suites for a while now and they are very nice.

I stayed at the hotel for business .I had called and got a price and then was promptly over charged when I checked out .I have talked to the hotel 3 times since i checked out each time told they will call me back to get it straightened out I have never recieved a call. The lady in front of me checking out had been charged for another room by mistake ,and she was trusting them to straighten it out I wonder if she is waiting still as welll. When I checked in the room it smelled strong of smoke and had burn marks through out the room.I was told I was staying in a non smoking room. Then there was a dead (big )bug next to my bed ,it never was cleaned up from the housekeeping .The bed was hard and the box springs were exposed I wasnt sure why. Then I was going to take a whirlpool in the whirlpool ,turned on the water and out of the jets came this yucky white stuff .I chose not to use it .I would not ever stay there again.

It was easy to find, clean, comfortable beds, nice TV, good morning breakfast

Unfortunately, we were returning home from NYS to GA from a family funeral so we were not in a joyful mood. We loved the lobby and the personnel were very friendly and accommodating. We asked for a recommendation for a seafood restaurant and one of the people working there recommended a good one which was across the main street and "down the road a piece". It was excellent--both foodwise and the ambience. This was in August of 2007 and my husband and two of our daughters had to return to NYS this month (September 2007). Because of our pleasant experience from before, they stayed at the same hotel this time.

Clothes washer & dryer available. Room was spacious and clean. Business travelers would enjoy the availability of a computer connection in the room as well as free use of a computer in the lobby. Longer term guests will appreciate the laundry facility on premises.

Very good location for shopping. Hard to control temperature (too hot then too cold), bad pillows - too flat. Overall this was a good stay. I would stay there again. Very good hot breakfast, biscuits, gravy, sausage, eggs, etc. Very helpful staff. Indoor pool.

Management must have worked on this hotel considering previous reviews. Our room was very clean and in excellent condition. Free breakfast was very good.

Very nicely decorated, friendly staff, clean, great location, nice TV. The beds were terrible! Very uncomfortable and didn't sleep at all! Very clean and easily accessed, however, it was one of the worst nights I've ever spent away from home due to the beds! Trying to sleep in their beds was like sleeping on a concrete slab! The pillows were flat too. The entire experience was awful and left me miserably tired and un-rested for the next day. Although it was clean and the staff was friendly, I will never stay here again due to the beds!

The hotel was very clean. Hotel that serve hot breakfast should offer non pork meats. I enjoyed my stay and I will go back to the hotel.

The rooms were clean & cozy. The staff was terrific! The whirlpool was only warm not hot. Nice staff, clean & cozy rooms, a free breakfast & a 12:00 checkout makes this a perfect overnight getaway for families, business travelers or groups of friends traveling together.
