Excellent value, rooms very clean, breakfast very nice. Porch area and driveway cluttered with trash. Rooms were very nice and clean. Staff was very friendly and gave suggestions for attractions and directions to restaurants.

upon arrival in helen (the town itself is quite a shock), but the hotel is tucked behind another hotel, which their sign is quite easily seen, the lobby is very inviting, personnel were very polite, however, two of the three desk clerks were not from helen, and could not tell us where go for dining. the room was very nice, clean and neat. i would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in helen or surrounding area.

This Country Inn was a pleasant surprise after spending about 11 nights in Holiday Inn & other properties throughout the South. A corner whirpool tub, a spacious room, clean, and very friendly staff were welcome changes after a 12 day vacation road trip. The location is convenient to downtown Helen attractions for those who can walk 1/4 mile or so. A hot southern breakfast was included with grits,eggs, sausage, biscuits, and gravy, along with the usual 'continental' breakfast food. The usual breakfast room was being remodeled during our visit and the conference room was used for breakfast dining. An indoor pool and small exercise room were available. The front desk people were very friendly and offered information and maps regarding local sites. Employees seemed to be genuinely concerned with making the stay pleasant, not just 'doing their job'. Price was reasonable compared to other prices that we had paid, 98 for weekday. I asked and was told that 'in-season' the weekend basic price is 139 and about 110 for weekday.

Great value and good location. Compared with other hotels in the area this is definitely the best deal for a decent place to stay.

This is my 2nd stay with this hotel. Both visits have been very enjoyable. The staff has always been very friendly and as helpful as possible. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel itself is only about a half mile from the heart of Helen so it is well within walking distance of the shops and restaurants. They offered complimentary breakfast (as most chains do now) but they also kept their beverage center open all day so we were able to warm up with a hot cup of tea after a cold night of shopping downtown.

XXX and XXX were very nice and extremely helpful after our terrible experience with Days Inn next door. Seems like they were always there with their smiling faces and warm greetings. Our room and the hotel was very clean, comfortable, and roomy. The hotel had cookies, fruit and coffee available all the time. The hot breakfast the next morning was awesome! The hotel is within walking distance to shops and restaraunts. We will definitely be staying here on our future visits to Helen."

Location and staff and a shower thatI could shower in. The stain in the chair on both sides of cushion. Over all very good. Would have liked to use that stained chair to watch TV.

The hotel staff were very helpful and courteous, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast the next morning was fantastic. The hotel is within walking distance to shops and restaraunts. We will definitely be staying here on our future visits to Helen.

Free breakfast bar, free parking, beautiful room. Iron was broken. Pleasant and courteous staff at check-in. The room was as beautiful and the bed was as firm (with 4 pillows on each bed!) as a 4 star hotel. We met the manager in the elevator and he was very friendly and reminded us to take advantage of the free breakfast bar. What a spread! The hotel was well-lit and the parking and the internet access was free. The microwave and refrigerator added to our pleasurable stay.

The indoor pool, room size and complimentary breakfast. Very nice and clean. Indoor pool was so nice since this time it was unseasonably very cool. Hotel has been kept up very well, still has new smell.

Great little hotel. We had friends that stayed in another one and were very unhappy with the cleanliness of it but we had no complaints about the Country Inn Suites in that regard. We would stay here again. Only problem with Helen is that is it too touristy.
