Hotel hidden behind the Meijers, not good signage, but once I found the hotel, great value-not 5 star but clean and comfortable

We greatly enjoyed the convenience of the breakfast area and good food. Makes traveling much easier. I would gladly stay at this hotel in the future. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the pool looked inviting. The employee's at the front desk were very pleasant and accommodating. Thank you for the nice stay.

Wonderful staff gave me a discount because I had to wait while they dealt with a problem another patron was having. I didn't have to ask for the discount. Cookies, popcorn, books and candy in the lobby. Breakfast great belgian waffles, sausage, eggs, etc. The breakfast area is very small only six tables, they have 88 rooms. I believe they were booked solid. Plan on eating in your room. Location a little odd you have to go thru a store parking lot to get to it, but it is visible from the expressway. Rooms were clean but modest. Pool is small but keeps the kids busy. A few expenisve hotels in the area but this was the only one that offered breakfast and a reasonable price. They allow pets if you have pet allergies you may want to pick another place.

Nice hotel, Stff were helpful, but manager was nasty. I called from about 20 miles away to get specific directions (which exit to take) and the person answering the phone didn't know. They are one block off the highway. I arrived at 2:00 in the morning, dead tired, I had booked a non-smoking room and when I opened the door, the smell of cigarettes almost took my breath away. I called the front desk and after much hemming and hawing, I was moved to another room. The next morning, as I was eating breakfast, the manager found me and told me I had to move to another room as the one they put me in was booked. Can't it wait until I finish eating??? Of course, the hotel manager's excuse was that I had booked through a "third party" online and it was "their fault" I was put in a room that reeked. The facilities were nice (the place was new after all), but there were a lot more hotels of the same caliber all over the area. I will definitely think twice about using this chain.

Breakfast. Dirty bed cover.. Nice place, worked well for our family.

Only one complaint but it's important. Even after requests I couldn't get the carpet vacumed. Location is great, pool very nice, the desk help is wonderful and a great free breakfast. I would recommend to anyone.

there is a big grocery store right next door and you and walk there. the place is also close to drive to any store, restaurant. if you are looking for a place to have a comfortable night of sleep, this is the right place. Next morning, you can enjoy a free breakfast with a few options, eggs, sausages, waffles and the regular milk and cereal stuff. there is a computer set up in the reception area. the so called free wireless internet is not so good. I had trouble to login. the tv is quite small and there are a few channels to watch. But again, if you are looking for a comfy place to sleep, it should not matter that much.

Clean, good location, and friendly staff. I can't think of anything bad to say! Perfect location just off the freeway, clean and friendly staff, wireless access - everything a business traveler needs!

Two queen beds. Cramped breakfast area - it was packed with people.

Value. Quality versus cost. Someone left a dog behind in a room below me that was barking.

Clean, easy access. Breakfast bar area too small. Very clean, nice staff, easy access and affordable. Great place if traveling with children.

A great place to stay, everyone that works there was nice during out stay and will be back again.

The staff was very friendly and I always saw the staff picking up and cleaning. It was a nice hotel for a family to stay. There was nothing I did not like. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Good location. Staff did not follow through with promise to send up an ozone machine to help mitigate the terrible tobacco smell. Non smokers should never be forced into smoking rooms. It is unhealthy and we spent a sleepless night, after which we had to launder all of our clothes and travel bags.

Service was excellent and the accommodations exceeded our expectations. Nothing. Excellent hotel and would go there any timeI go to Grand Rapids, MI.

This motel met all of my expections of what a motel should be.

The pool area was not overcrowded and the buffet breakfast was very good. We ended up in a smoking room for some reason and bought deodorizer to make it livable.

Great desk help & use of brunch room for family game time in evening. Nothing. It was beyond greatest expectations. Very courteous, friendly, large clean room, wonderful brunch, clean and nice outdoors with good landscaping and annual flowers, picnic table and outdoor chairs to use.

It was very convenient to local attractions, had a hot tub, and we were happy to hear they allow pets. It was hard to figure out how to get to it - we could see it, but weren't sure how to get to it.
Date of Stay:
May, 2008
The price was reasonable and had a nice breakfast. We unexpectedly spent a second night in a suite, the pull out couch would be rated -1, and the roll away was almost as bad.
