staff was wonderful and very helpful. Breakfast buffet was tasty and plentiful. Got there late and they still had donuts, waffles and such. Well kept and maintained. Rooms are average but sufficient for price point. Smelled a little musty but it seems that everything smells that way in williamsburg.(sorry) I would definately stay there again. A train does go by but you only hear it if you pay attention- very faint. front desk was very helpful and polite. Maintainence was alway out and about doing sometime- very helpful as well. would recommend.

Hotel was clean, efficient staff, met travel needs. As in all economy hotels, towels are never large enough. We felt safe, the room was nice, comfortable; staff wasprofessional and friendly.

This hotel was very good. Location to events was great, front desk people were very friendly and helpful, easy in and out of building and very convenient for packing luggage in and out. Good for families and priced very reasonable. Will definitely stay there again.

The Country Inn was clean and the location was great for Busch Gardens, Water Country and Historic Williamsburg. I was disappointed in the breakfast- not anything like what you would expect. It was do it yourself with uncooked foods with microwave access. Not for me!

Breakfast was good. Bathroom floor looked dirty! Average hotel. I was very close to Busch Gardens and it suited our needs for our one night stay. Staff was friendly and continental breakfast was good.

Nice place, clean. Good breakfast (microwaved eggs, bacon & sausage); doughnuts, waffles, etc. My only complaint is that our room smelled funny. But we had some air freshener things, and it was OK. We'll go here again.

We didn't spend much time at the hotel except to sleep, shower, and get a quick breakfast to start our day. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, but it's big selling point for us was the location. It can't be beat! We were just minutes from everywhere we wanted to go: Water Country USA, Busch Gardens, Historic Downtown; all just a couple miles travel time from this hotel. And when you are traveling with kids, that convenience is worth its weight in gold! We can't wait to come back to Williamsburg, and will definitely stay here again when we do!

The hotel was warm and inviting. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets were soft just like home. The keys wouldn't work the doors. The hotel was very clean and everyone was very kind. The rooms were warm and inviting. The beds were clean and the sheets were soft and welcoming. I would stay again and would recommend anyone to stay there.

We are frequent visitors to Williamsburg. This was our first stay at this hotel. Be aware that It is an older hotel that has been renovated and turned into a Country Inn and Suites. The room was very clean, the beds and pillows were comfortable, the staff could not have been more helpful/courteous. The condition of the room was okay. The bathroom was small - had to close the bathroom door in order to get into the shower. There was a second sink outside the bathroom - having two bathroom sinks was a huge plus. The breakfast buffet is okay for coffee, juice or a donut but we chose to go out for a hot, cooked breakfast every morning. Location was great for us since we were spending our time at Water Country and Busch Gardens. The pool looked clean & inviting but we never used it. You had to use your hotel key to gain access to the building which made us feel secure. The curtains would not cover the window completely so you could not block out the morning sun. Overall the experience was better then we expected and we would consider staying there again.

Close to Conference at expensive hotel. Delicious breakfast incuding bacon, sausage, pancakes. Could not have asked for anything more!

Free cookies when you check in. Noise from nearby trains.

Room was nice and clean, beds were comfortable. Drawbacks: Hall was noisy, not well sound insulated. Continental Breakfast? We were there at 8:00am and they were out of most of the drink selections and about half the food. We came back an hour later (thinking they would have replenished), & they were out of even more food/drinks. I know it is not a restaurant, but felt like they could have planned better to accomodate their advertised Continental Breakfast for guest. Overall, for the money, we will look elsewhere next time we go to Williamsburg.

Is was fine. The desk staff were friendly though they got us a little confused with directions when we called - lost looking for the hotel. The bedroom was clean, though there was a musty smell in the hallway and room. The air conditioning helped some. Overall I would recommend this place as a practical place to stay for a night or two. The complimentary breakfast was the best thing really -nice homemade waffles and lots of juice, cereal, breads and even meat.

This hotel was super convenient to Busch Gardens and Water Country. The breakfast room, though it was free, was much disorganized. I enjoyed my stay here, I love that fact the free breakfast included waffles you could make yourself. The crowds were pretty crazy in the breakfast room though. The close proximity to Busch Gardens and Water Country USA was great. The hotel is a little older though. The hotel staff was super friendly and nice.

I heard those words from every employee I met up with. I can tell you that is what will bring me back when we go this summer.,they seemed to every employee couldn't have been any nicer. we loved the big rooms, large bathrooms, clean lobby and the wonderful cont. breakfast..can't wait to go back and enjoy the pool. Our experince was the best we have ever had and we have stayed in the Williamsburg area but never at this hotel.

Visited before good exsperience, however , the lastest visit 10/12-10/14, we accidently left my wifes ipod on the bed when we checked out,we did not notice until we got home. I called spoke to the front desk they stated they would check with house keeping. As of 10/25 no has returned our call! With no doubt it was left in the room. Very poor customer service.

Continental breakfast was excellent, coffee and apples were available in the lobby at all times. Pool was a little small and had horseflies that would not go away. Very nice hotel that is conveniently located for a trip to busch gardens. It was very clean and had the best continental breakfast we have ever had.

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The staff are pleasant and professional. The rooms are clean and maintained. The continental breakfast was a pleasant surprise as well. They had(microwavable) sausauge and bacon, as well as waffles you could easily make(and staff will help you with if needed). There are also healthier choices like apples and yougurt. There is a small cardio room on the third floor for my daily treadmill run!! It is close to the historic site and nothing was more than 10 minutes away by car. The rates were very reasonable as well."

It was cozy and the staffs were super friendly, nice continental breakfast. Room size a little small for the number in our room. Our family enjoyed the hotel and we are actually planning to go back to that area again in the summer. We would definitely like to stay there again. The staff was extremely friendly and the hotel offered a nice complimentary continental breakfast.
