Quiet room, nice pool and whirlpool.

We were booked at the Wingate by Wyndham and found out that they didn't have a 24 hour shuttle to the airport. Our flight was at 6 am and they tried to convince us that a 5am shuttle would work fine. They had also steered us to a terrible restaurant on our incoming day (the Ranch House on Wilkenson...awful place). We switched to the Country Inn and Suites across the road and were very pleased: 24 hour shuttle, saved *, and very pleasant staff.

someone had entered my room and left a note on how nice my suitcase looked. i complained and i'm still waiting to hear from the manager.

The staff was polite and helpful, the hotel was clean, but it was non-smoking in all rooms. We also wish they had room service available for snacks.

Layout of the hotel was great. I really liked this hotel. It is right in the center of everything, but on a side road, so private. I also liked the nice stairway in the lobby that led straight to the rooms, rather than a cold stairway. Service was wonderful, I called down with a problem, and someone came and fixed it and were finished in less than five minutes. Great hotel.

The only disappointment was not having the whirlpool available. I was looking forward to relaxing in it.

We really enjoyed our stay. Booking through Travel agency ended up being WONDERFUL as a new employee didn't understand 3rd party bookings and over charged my credit card after we checked out (it was however very easily resolved- with no effort from me except a call to travel agency customer service). Check in and check out were incredibly easy and hassle-free. The staff was very accommodating when I let them know my husband would be arriving very late. The room was nice, it was clean. We had a king size bed and it was really comfortable. It felt like I was sleeping at home. The breakfast was surprisingly good as well. The waffles were awesome! :) Loved the experience and am about to book the same hotel for our next trip next month!

The hotel was nice except for the first day when we got back the cleaning people had not shut the door to our room fully and anyone could have walked in and taken our stuff. Since there were signs everywhere and they told us when we checked in to put our stuff in the room and not leave it in the car so no one would steal it, I thought they would be more careful about this.

Location. Historically perhaps not the best of locations, but this was great. Close to the lobby, first floor and this was great for my elderly parents. Staff was friendly and helpful!

I had a great experience at the hotel. A assosicate and I were staying there for business in town and I have never had such a good experience at a hotel ever before. I am going to stay there anymore when I am in charlotte and recommend it to family and friends when they are in the area.

I did not stay at the hotel since it was the right hotel, but the wrong location. Nothing could be done about it. I lost the money I spent on the reservation.

The hotel was beautiful, Very clean, the breakfast buffet was great. The staff was very pleasant and helpful, the pool was clean and the hot tub was great after a long day. We could not have found a nicer hotel to stay in and would recommend it to anyone who needs a place in Charlotte. It is very centrally located and close to great eating places.

The staff was excellent, rooms clean, affordable with many amenities. Add an eating area in the suites, dinning table and chairs. I was pleasantly surprised with the friendliness of the staff here. Annie was especially helpful, professional and kind. Housekeeping was on point and the price was excellent. We wanted to get away for a short break with our children without breaking the bank and this hotel gave us all the needed amenities to do just that.

This hotel was VERY nice, super clean, and the beds were very comfy! Staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Continental breakfast was very nice. Even had a library to check out books, and if you didn't finish before you checked out, you could take it with you and return it on your next visit. A little pricey for our budget, but we would definitely stay again. This is a sure thing for a nice stay in Charlotte. :) Very short distance from Verizon Wireless Amphitheater!

My husband and I selected this hotel to celebrate our anniversary because they offered jacuzzi suites. The room was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast selections were outstanding. Definately worth the money!

Country Inn & Suites By Carlson Charlotte University Place was in a great location close to major Charlotte roadways. Additionally, the property was close to many shopping and restaurants. The place was nice.
