WOW this place sure surpassed my expectations. we decided to stay at the newest hotel in the area, the Country Inn. It is in a great location at only a mile away from the metro. The downside was we had to drive to the metro but parking was only 5 dollars for the day. I heard there was a local bus that would take you there only two blocks away, but we didn't see the schedule downstairs. No worries though. We got to the Smithsonian in twenty minutes and had a great time as always, never gets old! As for the hotel its the newest in the area and it shows it. The rooms were neat and clean. I've never slept on a more comfortable bed. They do a good job of maintaining the hotel and staff is excellent and courteous. On top of that the comp breakfast was a nice treat and surpassed my expectations. I def recommend this to hotel to anyone looking to stay close to d.c. and not break their wallet.

We stayed for two nights and did not want to leave. You can waqlk around the corner to a seafood carryout that is out of this world. It's called Cameron's. I had a broiled seafood platter and my husband had a fried seafood platter. We shared and we loved it. After stuffing ourselves,we sat on the big porch.

This hotel is brand new. It has easy acces on and off the Capital Beltway 495/95. There is a few fast food restaurants within walking distance of the hotel a long with a 7 11 Convenience Store. The breakfast bar (complimentary) was more than I expected. It had a belgiujm waffle.The one thing that I did not care for was the fact that the pool and hot tub is not opened in the morning. Only after 4PM.
