Upon arrival at 11:30 PM room was not cleaned. Hotel was booked and no other room was available. We were sent 14 miles down the road (at midnight) to check into the sister hotel. Hotel was prepaid so there was some confusion in checking into the new location on how the room was to be paid.

Accomodating, very easy check-in and check-out with no problems. Better lit parking lot at night. I would stay here again, it was worth the price.

We so enjoyed our recent stay at this Country Inn in Camarillo. When we checked in, we explained my mom needed a smoking room, and we preferred a non-smoking room. They cheerfully put us near one another, accommodating our requests graciously. The hotel had not only a hot breakfast daily(included), a fridge and microwave in the room, but also happy hour daily! It wasn't the usual beer and wine. They had snacks galore and mixed drinks as well as beer and wine. It was quiet, and we were on the first floor near the lobby. I suggest though, if you want to see area attractions, take your own map. The only thing the front desk didn't have was a map of southern California.

We loved this hotel! The room was clean and great, and the bed was comfortable. I used the guest laundry that was convenient to our room. They had a computer in their lobby so you could check your email. All day long they had coffee available in their breakfast bar. In the evening, they had a "reception" type of thing where you could have beer, wine, or a soft drink together with popcorn and nachos. In the morning they served a full hot breakfast, and that was greatly appreciated. It is things like this that make a big impression on a traveler, and costs the hotel a little of nothing to do it. Compare that to other hotels that make their guests feel like the hotel is trying to get away with giving their guests as little as possible. This hotel was different. It made you feel that they wanted you to be their guest again and again. Overall, we thought this hotel was great. We would stay there again in a minute! Thank you, Country Inn!!

Our room faced the highway so there was some traffic noise to tolerate. The second night the noise was relatively less noticeable. The breakfast was full sized , fruit , cereal , eggs and potatos , bread or bagels and very good coffee. Free daily paper. You are not going to beat this deal.

This hotel has recently renovated their lobby & breakfast room. The rooms are huge, breakfast & the "Happy Hour" are a good value - This hotel isn't the newest in the area, but it's the only hotel in Camarillo or Oxnard that gives a FREE full breakfast & Happy Hour drinks. Bed was comfortable, Free wireless internet all through the building, all in all, a great value -

Fresh-baked cookies in the lobby, all day - yum . The staff was great, they answered all my questions, recommended a great restaurant, and directions to the Outlet mall, which is the best I've shopped at.... Big breakfast, 2 drinks & munchies in the lobby in the afternoon, nice touch - They gave me a "VIP" bag when I checked in, which had a bag of famous Amos cookies, a full-sized Hershey Bar, Sparkletts water, and microwave popcorn, along with local shopping & dining info - Very nice - Much appreciated... We'll stay here again - Thanks !

The room we were given was adjacent to the Hwy 101 Freeway and the noise was terrible all night long. There were not enough people staying there that night that they had to assign u that room. The toilet seat in the bathroom had obviously beeen broken for some time and was okay unless you had to sit down. On a positive note, the breakfast wasa great and the employees were quite good.

Fine motel, spacious rooms, nice breakfast, happy hour every evening, very close to freeway (101), friendly staff. Good value. Convenient location between Camarillo Outlet stores in the East and lively Ventura downtown and beaches in the West. Would definitely go there again.

I won't be back. The room and hotel reeked of cigarette smoke, the carpet had big burn marks in it, and the bathroom was nasty.

The room was huge. It is right on a freeway and noisy.

The room was quite large and very comfortable. Although we were directly next to the freeway, our room was located far enough where we couldn't hear the traffic noise. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The morning breakfast were the standard scrambled eggs, sausage, and hash browns served, but the cook could add hot biscuits and gravy to your dish if you wished. Unless of course, you wanted fresh fruit and waffles. Add the several juices and cold cereals available, and it puts Denny's to shame. The lobby, with its inviting fireplace, beckoned us to inquire about some of the rooms that did include fireplaces. For a few dollars more you could enjoy an evening huddled around a vigorous fire while sipping on a glass of chablis -- a free glass given out passionately by the hotel staff at 5 p.m. We'll be back.

Continental breakfast, happy hour. Good place to stay. Was better then I expected. Good service.

Clean room, good cable selections. Good bed Noise like a motor that would go on for 15 min.periodically. (maybe a bathroom fan, above or below.) Breakfast was OK but ran out of sausage during 2 day stay. Lots of families in the dining area. Not enough room at tables because they were saved!! I ate in the lobby on the coffee table. Which worked out OK
