What traveller type is most suited?: The Country Inn & Suites is ideal for corporate outings, family reunions, weddings, class reunions, tournaments and team events, church groups, and we are a favorite stay-over for Harley and other bike groups.
What transport is available to get around?: There is a local taxi cab service and the casino has its own shuttle service. This hotel will pay for taxi service to and from the local Prairie du Chien airport (direct route).
What can I do nearby?: On-property is the Buckhorn Grill & Pub where we sometimes offers live entertainment. We would consider providing live entertainment for large groups. Also, there are several bars downtown (3-4 miles) that frequently offer entertainment. Less than 5 miles away is Lady Luck Casino.

There are trails, hiking, picnicking and other outdoor activities at Pikes Peak State Park (McGregor, IA) just 8 miles away, and Wyalusing State Park just 17 miles away. The vistas from these sites is breath-taking! Locals and tourists also enjoy taking advantage of the Mighty Mississippi River and all it has to offer (Boatel rentals, waterskiing, canoeing, fishing, tournaments, ski shows, etc.).
