The Country Inn & Suites by Carlson Prairie Du Chien includes the Bear Foot Bay Indoor Water Park with an exciting 8000 square foot play area, a 20 foot high body slide, waterfall spa, activity pool with water basketball and children's pool. Along with a Deluxe Complimentary Continental Breakfast provided by the property, on site dining options also include the Buckhorn Grill & Pub. The hotel offers a 24-hour front desk, complimentary newspaper, complimentary parking, complimentary local calls and laundry/valet services. The hotel has family suites with separate kids' room with bunk beds, TV and Sony Playstation 2. Video games and movies are available at the front desk. What traveller type is most suited?: The Country Inn & Suites is ideal for corporate outings, family reunions, weddings, class reunions, tournaments and team events, church groups, and we are a favorite stay-over for Harley and other bike groups.
What transport is available to get around?: There is a local taxi cab service and the casino has its own shuttle service. This hotel will pay for taxi service to and from the local Prairie du Chien airport (direct route).
What can I do nearby?: On-property is the Buckhorn Grill & Pub where we sometimes offers live entertainment. We would consider providing live entertainment for large groups. Also, there are several bars downtown (3-4 miles) that frequently offer entertainment. Less than 5 miles away is Lady Luck Casino.

There are trails, hiking, picnicking and other outdoor activities at Pikes Peak State Park (McGregor, IA) just 8 miles away, and Wyalusing State Park just 17 miles away. The vistas from these sites is breath-taking! Locals and tourists also enjoy taking advantage of the Mighty Mississippi River and all it has to offer (Boatel rentals, waterskiing, canoeing, fishing, tournaments, ski shows, etc.).
