Staff were nice and courteous. The room though spacious did not have what I expected in bed and beddings

I like the country feel. Nice lobby and breakfast area. No desk, just a small square table. The place is a good 2 star hotel with a really nice breakfast that includes hot scrambled eggs and sausage along with the typical waffles. Food was good and tasty.

This was our first time at this hotel, but it won't be our last. There was plenty of parking near the doors, luggage carts were well oiled and easy to push, suite was very clean and comfortable. The room was quiet when the windows were closed. We were on the back side of the motel and faced a small wooded wet area, we saw and heard geese flying and our second morning saw two deer! What a delight. Breakfast was good and varied a bit daily. My husband spoke to a manager who said that they have guests who are there for extended stays and they try to vary the menu so it doesn't get boring for them. The wi-fi connection was fast, and USA Today was free in the lobby. The in-room coffee was superb. I liked the way the suite was set up: the first room had a TV, table, good lighting, hide a bed couch was comfortable as both couch and as a bed, the other chairs were also comfortable and the table was a good size, in the next area was a tall counter and mirror with microwave, and refrigerator below, closet area with plenty of hanging space, an iron and ironing board. Across from that was the spacious bathroom with a good counter area, adjustable shower head with bathtub, tissues, hairdryer, with plenty of drinking cups. And at the end was the bedroom which had a door for privacy, a TV and so much room even with the King size bed. The curtains easily opened and closed with a lacy one that could be separately closed to let light in but retain privacy and a heavier drapery to help block out sun and sound.

My girlfriend and I were very disappointed with the cost and cleanliness of our weekend get a way.

The continental breakfast was supposed to last until 10:30, and by 10 am, everything had been cleaned up and put away except for a few pieces of bread and bagels. There was also just a little bet of gravy left for the biscuits and gravy, and my fiance ate that and was sick for the rest of the day.

It was clean. I did not like the location, I felt it was not in a nice area of town. It also allowed smoking. The hotel itself is nice.

I stayed at this hotel for business travel and I really enjoyed my stay. It is conveniently located off the freeways and was an easy drive to and from the airport about 30 minutes and just 10 minutes from downtown. The suites are terrific and come with a small fridge and microwave which is great when you?re on the road. The staff is always very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast is great, and I loved that they supplied breakfast to go for people on the run that included muffins, granola bar, apple and bottled water with to-go cups for coffee. It had everything I was looking for including free wireless, and a small, but adequate work out room with several machines. I recommend this hotel!

Country Inn & Suites, Brooklyn Center, Minnesota was a great place to stay. Didn't use a lot of the options it had available, as I just didn't have time, but the room was wonderful and the staff was great. Had a great breakfast. Also didn't use the attached restaurant Fridays, as I had meals at a nearby relatives, but I love Fridays and would have used it. Was glad it was attached to the hotel. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, based on my experience.

I prefer to think that a stay in Minnesota confirms the nice image for which the state and its inhabitants are known. Unfortunately our three days at the Brooklyn Center Country Inn & Suites provided some annoying exceptions. The staff never gave us a form to fill out with license, address, etc. information for our stay. They basically finessed the oversight: easy on us but a poor way to keep track of guests. Two other annoyances during our stay: the breakfast was paltry and unimaginative--a contrast to what we'd experienced at Country Inns in Stillwater MN, Rapid City SD, and Billings MT--and the non-smoking room next to ours had one set of guests whose smoke drifted through the crack in the connecting door. Outside the hotel I twice encountered aggressive panhandlers--once in the parking lot the hotel shared with TGI Fridays, once at the Target store parking lot a mile to the south. Neither the couple in the first instance nor the wobbly young man in the second seemed to know of Minnesota nice. OK--enough venting. On the plus side, the hotel is well located for freeway access to both Minneapolis and St. Paul and their northern and western suburbs. The beds were quite comfortable and, though we were on the freeway side of the inn, the traffic noise was adequately muffled. A Guyanese fellow painting the hotel porch railing one day during our stay almost singlehandedly redeemed the staff strains with his warm smile and easy conversation! I hope our few bad experiences will ultimately prove to be exceptions to what has until now been a pleasant relationship with this chain. Stay: three days in late June 2007

Friendly, helpful, honest and accommodating staff. Could have been more towels in the swimming area. Very nice and hotel was right off the freeway.

This Country Inn and Suites property was not only convenient to the places we needed to visit but was comfortable, friendly, and focused on customer satisfaction. We intend to use this hotel for our next visit to the Minneapolis area. The room was quiet, comfortable with extraordinary beds that provided extremely comfortable sleeping. The bathroom was very user friendly too with outstanding supplies of towels and washcloths. The breakfast facility was one of the best we had ever seen. Impressed with the staff, the comfort, and the facility.

The hotel staff was very helpful with directions and very friendly to the children and self. Nothing. This hotel was great for the little bit of time we spent there. They were very friendly from the minute we got there till we left. Before we would leave to go somewhere they were right there to give us directions and tips. Very helpful.
