This was our first visit to Boone--and were overall happy with this choice. Our ONLY surprise was that there wasn't a fridge or microwave in the room...the first place we've stayed at in years that didn't have them. We were staying for several days, and would have liked the option of "stocking up" the fridge, or nuking leftovers. On the plus side, the breakfast was nice--and the front desk made fresh chocolate cookies in the evening--nothing like the aroma of cookies when you enter the lobby!

Great breakfast and fireplace in lobby Alarm clock did not work

Very nice hotel- room and bathroom were both very clean along with the rest of the hotel. Continental breakfast was great. Beds are a little stiff for me; but to each his own. If you are a light sleeper ask for a room away from the street.

This was just a long weekend trip, but we enjoyed it thoroughly. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had noisey neighbors and the front desk clerk offered to call them and request they quiet down. We chose to wait and my husband had the opportunity to speak to them personally and they quieted down at a reasonable time with no problems. The fireplace in the lobby was a warm and relaxing treat with the cold weather to sit and read the paper by. The breakfast was well stocked and was kept open even a little longer to accomadate all of the guests. We plan to go back again in the spring to enjoy the rhodendrons and this hotel.

Great for long weekend. Went to Tweetsie, shops, and by ASU. Great staff is what made this place a hotel we will stay with again

Location. Great breakfast for guests. Not enough hotel parking. Had to park at hotel next door. Hotel was fine and served the purpose. This is pretty, but, the bedroom did not have a trash can.

We had a good couple of nights stay here. The front desk staff were very helpful in finding places to eat and giving directions. We had a couple of gliches with the reservation and the TV in the room and they quickly resolved everything for us. The room was clean and had the amenities advertised.

Everything at this hotel was great except the pool was a little small, but during the week nights it is just the right size. On the weekend night it was a little crowded. Overall a Great Place to stay!

Whirlpool tub was very nice. Pillows were very flat, needed to be fluffier andbathroom was a little small. Nice, new, clean, needed better pillows and had a great whirlpool tub, but the bathroom was kind of small. The large door to the bathroom took up so much room it was tough turning around once it was opened to close it.

Good views with nice balcony outside dining area. We had a first floor room convenient to the pool and breakfast area which we really enjoyed. It was pretty convenient to everything we needed. Traffic not too bad on this part of King Street. Very clean and attractive motel. Would stay here again.

This hotel was a great place to stay for our weekend get-away in Boone, NC. We took in the nearby ASU game while there, shopped downtown (also nearby) and had a great place to come in from the cold there at the Country Inn & Suites. The breakfast was great. They had Belgium Waffles which really made it great! We will go back again for sure - with one student at ASU and another on the way to ASU, we need to get a permanent room, I guess.

Location and breakfast bar was above average. Road noise off Highway 421. For the money not bad. Newspapers, staff, and overall hotel conditions were good.

Country Inn & Suites looked nice. The man at the front desk was less than helpful.
