When I arrived at my room I went in and nothing had been cleaned. I had to go back to the front desk to ask for a new room.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel sits off the highway behind an eating establishment and is easy to miss. The hotel staff was very accomidating and helpful. The king size bed comfortable and overall the room was clean and inviting although it felt dated in decore.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for about a week. We arrived using the free shuttle from the airport. The front desk was very friendly. She asked us if we would like a room on the main floor since there isn't an elevator, we took it. The bedding is very nice, down comforters, not the scratchy bed coverings at most hotels. It is located by a lot of restaurants, both fast food and sit down. There is a bus stop just across the street which will take you to down town. Breakfast was wonderful, many options. We loved our stay here. I'm a bit shocked by the other reviews, I think some people can never be happy. This was a great hotel, especially for the price.

Comfortable pillows. Everything except the pillows. This hotel was ridiculous, we had problems with the commode on our first night there. When I called the front desk and told them the problem they said they would send someone right away, well 30 minutes later and 2 more calls to the front desk and someone not wearing a hotel uniform knocked at the door when I answered the door he handed me a plunger and said here you go then turned and walked away. I was in shock. Every time we asked about local entertainment and shopping we were told I don't know about that. The entrance and exit doors to the hotel were in poor operating condition and did not even lock. It was horrible, just horrible I'm telling you. I would never stay in a Country inn and suites again.

"This is the worst Country Inn & Suites we've ever stayed at! We love this chain, but not this hotel - NO elevator, NO whirlpool! HOWEVER, the breakfast room was the nicest ever - soft music instead of noisy tv!"

Upon arrival at this hotel after a long drive, we checked in. We had trouble even getting entrance though the security doors on the ground floor. I had to walk a very long way to enter another security door and let my wife in from the inside. Then we had to carry all our bags up a flight of stairs since the hotel had no elevator. We are both in our 70's. except when it got dark and we wanted to turn in, the room curtains did not cover the window and all the light from outside came in and kept me awake for most of the night. When we checked out the next morming, we could not get a printed receipt for payment because the printer was low on ink. The only positive thing about this hotel is it's location to the Charlotte airport. It only takes about 5 or 10 minutes to drive to the airport.

Beds were comfortable. Housekeeping knocking on door at 9:00 am. No refrigerators or microwaves in rooms. No available microwave to use in hotel.

"I found this hotel to be okay but nothing special. I had to drag my bags up a number of stairs and when I reached the top, the desk man asked if I needed help! By then, I had made two trips up and was finished. "

It is a very quiet place to rest and close restaurants and other places to solve any emergency. The most important thing for me was that my wife and myself had a very good rest without any interference or noise and also that we were very close to the Airport.

There was a restaurant within walking distance. Not business friendly - $1.00 per page to send fax. There was a computer in the lobby for guest use which was nice.

not the worst hotel ever but not what the website might portray

This Country Inn & Suites room was out-of-date with cleanliness/maintenance issues, and the bed was uncomfortable. This is not typical of the companies other properties that we have stayed at, which were exceptional. However, the price and proximity to the airport and expressway was good.

Hospitality by staff members. The pool was closed in April and it was hot. I found the hotel to be conveniently located to proximity to the airport. It also was easy access to the freeways. I would recommend it to other people. I would suggest that they heat up the pool for the month of April because it was already hot and it would be one more bonus to add the ambiance. One Light fixture next to bed in room was out of commission and light bulbs need to be replaced.

The hotel served my purpose very well, which was somewhere reasonable to stay before flying out of the Charlotte airport very early the next morning. I had had to call for driving directions beforehand; and the desk person was both courteous and helpful (clear directions. I liked having a refrigerator in the room. I did appreciate that the breakfast actually was available somewhat before the stated time, since I had to leave with the airport shuttle before the actual opening. (The shuttle also a good thing.) However, I did not like having to scurry across a major thoroughfare to a shopping center in order to get something to eat in the evening! On the whole though, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if need should arise.

It was quiet and clean staff very friendly liked the patio area. Wished the pool had been opened. This hotel was quiet and clean and the staff was really friendly. It was close enough to the things we wanted to do.

Sketchy neighborhood. Old property; sketchy neighborhood; marginal breakfast; pool broken.

Shuttle to airport and you can leave your car. Good location to airport. You can leave your car at the hotel and take their shuttle to and from the airport.

They need to add front desk staff.

Great location. Close to the airport. Had to wait 30 minutes for the shuttle to pick us up. Only restaurant close was Shoney's. The hotel was relatively clean, but very basic. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Even though the shuttle was called when we arrived, we had to call a second time after waiting over 30 minutes. The shuttle comes on an as needed basis. The physical fitness room was a joke.
