The Hotel didn't have a non-smoking room as asked for so they did a great job of making a room fresh as if no one had ever smoked in it before. As for anything else it didn't seem much different from the rest of the Hotels weve stayed in.

Clean, nice breakfast, good size rooms. Noisy - paper thin walls, you could hear everything around you and from the second floor. This hotel was fairly new, very clean with nice size rooms. The breakfast was very good with a lot of selection. Close to the highway, convenient to the college. Pizza place delivers to it. One drawback - it was very noisy even though it was not that busy. Very thin walls - you could hear your neighbors all around and from the second floor - including their TV, their conversations and their bathroom visits. Too noisy for me.

Our room was large and spotlessly clean. Bathroom too. Hotel staff went out of their way to find our relative a room with air conditioner unit that would not aggravate his asthma.

The staff was friendly and attentive. Jacuzzi was a little on the cold side. Grinnell is a small sleepy town near des mines. However the staff at the country inn and suites provided a nice small town feel to my stay. I felt like I was staying with family rather than staying at a hotel and they recommend to great places to eat nearby.

It was clean and warm. Nice and clean. Easy access from the highway. Had to take room that was offered. Was a smoking room, neither of us smoke? Smell was not too bad. Price was a little high. The hotel was clean and welcoming. No elevator. Not a great choice for older people if ground floor rooms are full.

Clean, free wireless internet. The hotel was close to I-80. Clean, well kept, and fairly new. Close to Grinnell College and an ideal place to stay for someone visiting there. They also had free wireless internet, handy for keeping in touch via e-mail.
