Hotel is old and is in poor condition, and was like staying in an intercity neighborhood. We had to track down the front desk person in order to check out&

Great location for our needs/very clean/friendly staff/great pool slide. The hotel was very clean; staff very friendly; breakfast area clean and spacious/food good; the pool is indoors and the slide is great. They also have an adult only hour which was great. They also set out daily free snacks (like cookies) on a cart in the lobby (under a plastic cover for hygiene. Shopping, movie theaters, restaurants very close by.

I originally booked for 3 days stay. But, there was a blizzard and everything shut down. My room was excellent. The hotel had recently been updated with new carpeting, decor etc. The room was very clean well kept. I was next to the laundry and Room Service equipment so sometimes a little noisy. As I was snowed in, I had great breakfast and was able to order food from Friday's resturant next door! The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and made my taxi arrangements. They were awesome. Now, the cost varied a little.....not quite as advertised here. I paid $* for a Friday night stay and $* for Tues. and Wed night stay. There are lots of taxes. I never heard of $2 occupancy tax but I guess that's corporate hidden charge, maybe for the breakfast..... Anyhow, I was satisfied and I would stay again and encourage others to go here. It's very close to everything you need and want.

My daughter and I stayed while we were in town for a basketball tournament and this hotel had EVERYTHING we look for when traveling...breakfast, pool, business center (to check scores etc.) fitness center. The rooms were clean and nice facility. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable and because we travel every weekend ... the price was right.

Great business and family property just off I-90 and close to the area attractions including Mount Rushmore, the Badlands, Custer State Park, Spearfish Canyon and Lead/Deadwood. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Free wireless and 2 computers available for those who left their computers home. Ample free breakfast. Great pool with a slide and wonderful hot tubs for relaxation after a full day exploring. Nearby restaurants are mostly chains (Friday's, Denny's, Olive Garden etc)with attractive prices for families. One upscale restaurants located just accross the highway (Minerva's). Great restaurants downtown Rapid City (Botticelli's 4Stars, which is 10 minutes away

After a long day of driving, we arrived at our hotel all my kids wanted to do was hit the pool, but we needed a roll away bed. The night clerk said, "no problem, the pool is that way and I'll get a bed up to your room as soon as I can, but I'm by myself so it might be a bit." While I wasn't too happy with that response as I've gotten it at other hotels and we were lucky if we got the bed by midnight, this turned out differently. This time, the roll away was in our room by the time I got back from returning Redbox movies to the Walmart up the street. My kids were not disappointed by the pool. While it might be a tad small for peak times, my kids loved the waterslide. For a family on the go, the breakfast buffet was a huge hit, not just your standard muffins, but hot eggs, biscuits, and sausage plus a waffle maker. We figured the buffet saved us close to $50. I would choose this hotel again if we return to the area.

The staff was very helpful and the location was perfect for dining, shopping and easily accessible to the airport. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Will stay again next time we are in Rapid City

The staff is great. The free breakfast was delicious(waffles and biscuits & gravy). The best part is the location. 2 minutes to Mt. Rushmore in one direction, 20 minutes to deadwood in another. Walking distance to the mall too. The room was clean and comfortable. The only thing that could be better is the towels. They were small, and the pool towels are almost transparent.

We enjoyed our trip to Rapid City and the hotel's accommodations were wonderful. We received a complimentary breakfast every morning (biscuits and gravy, pastries, waffles, cereal, and the list goes on). Sun-Thurs, they were offering free soup at dinner time. Coffee, fruit and cookies were available 24/7. Being the "off" tourist season, our rates were really reasonable. The staff were very friendly and courteous and making sure that your stay was great. The location of the hotel is within distance to many great restaurants (TGI Friday's is right next door). There is a Golden Corral, many Chinese Restaurants, Outback Steakhouse, Denny's, Boston's Pizza, Red Lobster, etc. all within a mile of the hotel. The Rushmore Mall is just a few blocks in back of the hotel, which offers a food court and many of other sit down restaurants. We also received a coupon book from the mall, being that we were from out of state (just go to the mall info desk and ask for one). The location of the hotel, is very convenient for hopping on the interstate to go to the many touristy places. We went to Mt. Rushmore, Keystone, downtown Rapid City, Custer State Park, Sturgis, Deadwood and then drove to WY (about 1 1/2-2 hours) to Devil's Head. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. There is a pool with a water slide, but we found at night that the pool was a bit crowded. Fortunately, they have the pool open from 11pm-12am, just for adults. The pool hours are 6am-midnight then. Many great opportunities to swim. They also had 2 whirlpools. Great trip, great hotel...will do this again!!!!!

The hotel was centrally located to the various attractions we went to South Dakota to see. There were no easy chairs or sofas to relax on, only the beds. The hotel was nice because it is located close to the highways and shopping in Rapid City. The room we were in was located next to the elevators so it was a bit noisy well into the night. The breakfast that was available was subpar to other hotels offering the same type of fare. We ended up going out to local restaurants for breakfast after eating at the hotel once.

No problems here. Great hotel for the money. Upgraded to the larger room for a small charge. Good free breakfast, nice staff. Cool slide on the pool for kids, but pool was very small. Bring your own ethernet cord if you need wired service as the desk runs out frequently. Great location for seeing the sights.
