In the room, there needs to be a mirror and plug-in for a second female to be getting ready while another is in the shower. The hotel was being remodeled, so we had new carpet and paint. It was very clean and convenient to the outlets. We enjoyed our stay.

Gross room, bad service ,lumpy beds,bad staff, bad style, no class, stale food, bad bug problem, ugly staff people, dont speak english good, bad hair styles.no cows to pet.

This hotel is very convient for shopping at the outlet mall. It is just your basic hotel, nothing special but is fairly clean. Location is it's best feature.

The room was large and comfortable and very clean. The decor was well appointed. The staff was very accommodating. The continental breakfast needed a little more selection to accommodate heart healthy patrons. Overall this is a nice hotel and I would certainly recommend staying there to my friends.

The staff were friendly and assisted us with directions and hotel amenities. Great room, nicely decorated and clean. Great breakfast and right across the street from the Prime Outlets. We had a great time and will go back soon!

Country Inn and Suites by Carlson at Birch Run had nice sized rooms with a table and 2 chairs, a dresser with a TV, and 2 queen sized beds. The bathroom was quite comfortable with a long vanity. It was located very close to the outlet mall and within 10 miles of Frankenmuth. The continental breakfast was very nice and there was ample food for all, as well as, a wide variety of choices. The worst part of the stay and the reason that I will not return are the mattresses. They were mushy soft and very uncomfortable.

we had a nice time.... Stoped overnight, friendly staff, comfortable bed, clean room. Breakf. was slim pickings @8:30am & there was boxes of groceries that were to be refridgerated but not yet put away or displayed properly for guests to eat.

Our stay at the Country Inn & Suites by Carlton in Birch Run, Michigan was wonderful! When my daughter entered the room, examined the beautiful decor and tried out her double bed, she exclaimed I feel like a princess. Our room was spacious and had two very comfortable double beds, a well designed bathroom, and beautiful country craft wreaths and paintings. The light maple furniture made it feel very homey, and luxurious. The hotel included a heated indoor pool and hot tub. We only spent one night there, after shopping at Birch Run, but next visit we will being staying there at least two nights. We never did eat there, but a complimentary breakfast was included. The staff were extremely pleasant and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed.

My first impression was not positive - weeds in the cracks of the walk, then heavy clorine smell and lastly filthy carpet in the guest room. Yuck! The pool was small, but we had it to ourselves. The hotel was very close to Birch Run/Prime outlets- within walking distance. If you don't plan on spending any time in your room it was cheap.

This hotel was a delightful surprise. Amenities were top-notch, the complimentary breakfast was wonderful, very clean, friendly staff, large room and it looked like the maintance of the hotel was up-to-date. Everything worked. The price was great for what we received something along the line of a four star for two star rates. Check-in and check out was easy and comfrotable. I have no hestitation in recommending this impressive hotel.

The Country Inn & Suites By Carlson Birch Run, BIRCH RUN, MI was very poor. My recent visit started by me having to wait over 5 minutes at the front desk to find someone to check me in. The girl arrived and said she was the only one there so therefore the delay. The room was terrible...it was raining and the room leaked all night near the window. Carpet was wet and room smelled damp and musty. Cleanliness in bathroom was marginal. I have stayed there before and was satified,however this visit has changed my mind.

We had an excellent time at the Country Inn & Suites. The staff were very friendly and accomodating with all our needs. They made us feel very welcome every time we returned to the hotel for the evening. Very close to great shopping and restaurants. We will definitely stay there again next year.

The room was clean and comfortably spacious. No restaurant, small swimming pool, and narrow hallways. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. We stay here every-time we plan a shopping trip to the outlet mall.

Considering location, CI&S was good value. Rooms were clean and neat, mostly up to Country's standards. The inn was starting to show a bit of wear, but otherwise well cared-for. The breakfast items were not as good as most of these properties I have stayed in, but OK (no waffle-maker!) Most of these places have fresh cookies (some even hot snacks) upon arrival, but this one had stale cookies. On a 1-5, I'd give it an overall 3.5. They just need to pay a bit more attention, lest they retreat too far in their care of the small things.
