My husband and I were very pleased with our room, the onsite restaurant, and the personnel. We received a special discount because we were here attending a funeral. We didn't expect one. The kindness shown us was a blessing. and we hope to be able to come back soon for a vacation.

My home was broken into and I needed to stay at a hotel. The desk person was very sensitive to my needs. She gave me the lowest rate possible and helped ease my mind. There is so little kindness around anymore, but I found it here. The room I had was exceptionally clean, spotless. I would recommend a stay to anyone. Thanks!

What a great place to stay with children! We not only had use of the pool and playground at the hotel, which were clean and well kept just like the rooms, but we also had a chance at putt-putt golf at an adjoining camp area. The rooms were clean, the staff excellent. All that one could ask for in a family vacation package. The staff knew info on all attractions which made our stay easier, simple.

We stayed at this motel when it was called Budget Host. We stayed there several times over the years. We like the location because it's quiet and out of the main stream of traffic. However, we stopped going because of unfriendly service and and there always seemed to be something in need of repair. Eventhough it went under new management,(Country Hearth Inn) we still avoided the motel. But this year we decided to try it again and to my surprise the rooms were very clean. The service was great and very helpful. The pool, though it's small, was also very clean. They've added a continental breakfast which saves a little money when you're traveling with kids. Cave city is only 5 miles away and Beech Bend is about a half hour drive. We reserved three rooms and they met all our specific needs. We'll have no problems staying there in the future.

Room was clean and smelled good, furniture worn, pool empty due to federal inspection, this made me sad. Pool was empty. Staff was friendly, room clean, was just outdated. The new owner was in the process of updated the rooms it appeared. Good stop.

The water was warm not hot. The room had mold on the walls by the windows. They were doing construction and i could not get any sleep.

We were in the area to visit Mammoth Caves. This motel was convenient to the caves and the highway. However, the motel is getting old and the rooms did not have any special amenitites. The room was clean, but basic. On our last morning, the sink backed up and they had to move us to another room while maintenance worked on the problem. We also had issue with alot of noise from the other guests outside. Bottom line, I probably would not recomment this motel due to the age of the building and while the area was convenient, the immediate area looked rather rundown.

Nothing. Noise, food, beds and nearly everything. Very old and not well maintained. Beds were awful, not like you were going to sleep anyway since it's right next to a truck stop.

Good property for the budget minded. Friendly staff, clean rooms. Some air conditioning units being replaced. Not all rooms have working a/c. Stairs-only access to second floor. Continental breakfast included, making this a good deal for the price. Just off hwy 65 and within a 10 minute drive of Mammoth Cave. Close to plenty of chain and local restaurants.

Friendly staff, clean, well maintained rooms. Convenient restaurant, location off highway. Everything was great! Hotel was very conveniently located about 20 min. from Mammoth Cave National Park. Check in was easy, staff very efficient and friendly. Rooms very comfortable and clean. 24 hours restaurant on property was very reasonable. An incredible value for the price!

The Country Hearth Inn, in Horse Cave, KY was a great value. We had the deluxe jacuzzi suite, which was HUGE!!!! The room had a couch, table and chairs, and a king sized bed! I was happily surprised to get a free full breakfast both mornings in the attached 24 hour restaurant.
