when we arrived at the motel the main office door was wide open due to the broken air conditioner.the lobby carpet was stained and dirty. the young lady behind the desk was not the clerk, she was there until the actual clerk returned. the young lady was very polite but was not dressed to standards....professional. the clerk finally returned and was not professionally dressed as well. the clerk had no clue as to who was in what room. i was given key cards to room 210, when i opened the door i saw laugage and immediately slammed the door shut.i went back to the clerk very upset. it took several minutes before getting a room because the clerk still had no clue of what room to give me.i finally was given a room. later on i went down stairs to get an ice bucket an older lady that was with the party in room 210 stated to the clerk that i was in the room long enough to take something. the clerk stated to her that she could rest assure i was not in the room long enough to take anything. this was the worst hotel stay i have ever had....this was a night mare from hell!!!!!!!

I could have sworn that I saw a travel website rating of four stars. Ignore that rating. Second story kitchenette with map on door showing where rooms are located by number, but no mention of fire exits. It gets much worse from there. Due to season, my family did not have option of staying elsewhere, so we endured. The blinds gaped and were caked with greasy dust. Rug stained. The kitchen had no utensils. Microwave was dinosaur that required multiple cycles to heat coffee water. Didn't get towels enough for the four of us until the morning we checked out. Beds were full-size, not queen as noted in booking. No fitted sheets, so bedding kept coming loose. Filthy, multi-use nasty bedspreads, but no blanket of any sort. AC quit on us twice, but husband was able to reset. Fridge froze everything regardless of temp setting -- great for beer, but not for salad. Location was okay in terms of distance to beach (five to ten minute drive). Stopped at Welcome Center to get better directions and they said hotel was okay and had been recently (w/in 1 yr) remodeled. What can happen in a year! Only positive: had good water pressure in shower. Spare yourself and your family by paying more and getting WAY more elsewhere. Hope your vacation is good to you, because my back is still regrouping from the mattress (NO support at all). Very disappointed that this place is even listed with travel website.

good place to sleep. nice beds, clean, could use larger TV. We used the room to get cleaned up after being at the beach all day at a friends condo.

The young lady at the front desk was friendly and helpful, but the property itself was very basic. By that I mean there was no elevator to the second floor and the steps seemed to be narrow and steep. This made it difficult for my elderly traveling companions to traverse. The room itself needed vacuuming (there was m&ms on the floor), the toilet paper holder had been broken off the wall, and the bed was badly made up with top sheets used for both the mattress and as a top sheet. If it had been just me and my son it probably would have been o.k., but I do not recommend this hotel if you have your wife or daughter with you, or you are traveling with elderly family members, especially females.

When we checked into our motel room, we noticed right off the carpet was wet and had been for some time because of the stain it left all around one wall. We wnet to the desk to report this and ask for another room and they acted as if they knew nothing about wet carpet and refused to get us another room. I have asthma and dampness is one of the things that triggers it. We will not stay in this motel room again nor will we recommend it to anyone. If they had just accomodated us we would have been satisfied.

We checked in the hotel they were very nice, then the room was okay, but hade only 1 sheet on the bed, and it wasn't fitted..the shower drain was cogged. The funny thing was that they had a coffee maker but no coffee!! But overall it was okay. It was about 10 minutes from the Wharf!

The room was roomy and had a stove/refrig combo, but there was no phone in the room, nor was there a pool. it also did not have any bathroom counter space. We were there 2 nights and our beds were not made. They did bring us clean towels. In its favor, it was fairly close to the beach and there were a lot resturants close by.
