The room was big and comfortable. They brought a microwave into the room so I could eat easily. It was a little noisy in the evening with the room right outside to pool and game area but was a reasonable amount of noise and quieted down at a reasonable hour. For what I paid for the room, I was very satisfied and comfortable.

The pool was the best feature, although we didn't use it. The public areas and rooms were run down, a little shoddy. This hotel has seen better days. The staff was helpful but if they want to keep up in today's market there will have to be some updates done.

The staff was very nice and helpful. Once we showed them the mistake they IMMEDIATELY fixed the situation.

The man behind the desk was pleasant, and the pillows were comfortable. The furniture and walls in the room weredirty and run down, the halls were dirty and smelled and the stairwell was covered in dirt and some glop. This hotel was an old Day's Inn that has been converted to its current state. The man behind the counter was friendly, though the lobby was kind of dark and not very welcoming. We noticed that the key cards to our room were old day's Inn key cards that had the name of the old hotel marked out with a magic marker. The stairs up to our floor were filthy, sprinkled with what looked like sand and glops of what looked like yogurt or suntan lotion. The hallway to the room was dirty and smelled weird. Our room was filled with furniture that looked like it had been acquired at a garage sale. It was terribly worn, chipped. The beds were very uncomfortable and hard, and the mattress ticking on the box springs was visibly faded and stained in places. The bathroom tile had mold growing on some of the grout. There was, however plenty of hot water. All in all, we were disappointed in the hotel, and were anxious to leave the next morning. We won't be staying here again.

Country Hearth Inn Eau Claire is not a place to stay if you expect a clean room with at least some updates and comfortable bed. The hallways reaked with cigarette smoke although my room was in a no-smoking wing. It is very run-down and no intentional effort to fix or update even cosmetics. I would call it a 1 star hotel at best. Breakfast is in an umarked room and would not be found without asking. Food is very limited--more a donut and cereal.

We needed a place that was quite and stress free and that is what we got in this hotel. The staff where great about giving us extra towels when we asked for them. We were very comfortable in this hotel.

Location Continental Breakfast Very friendly and accomodating staff. When asked for a non adjoing room was given a room that was adjoining but said they would not put anyone next to us. Not only did they do that but also the other side as well. I read alot of negative reviews but we were very plessed. Don't get other people's issues.

Friendly staff. Very dirty. The beds were dipped, very dirty bathroom and room in general. Did not want to touch anything. Very smoky smell.

The room was a decent size, but thats about where the positive aspects end. The bathroom door was rotting away along the edges, the caulk and grout in the bathroom was black (and it wasn't supposed to be). The Hot Tub was drained and under construction. There was a rather large beetle type bug that was hanging out on our wall, and when I went to have breakfast from the continental breakfast, the milk was no good. It was a milk dispenser with a temperature gauge on the front with the needle far past "safe" and well into "Danger". Don't waste your time or money here.

Very comfortable beds. Needs some updating of the decorating. Nice enough place with very comfortable bedding. Large indoor pool and recreation area that might get quite noisy if there are a lot of kids.

Nothing The curtains where not in the windows. Worst hotel I have ever seen.

Provided breakfast in the morning. Not kept up very well. I amnot a person to judge people, but it seems people from India who run hotels do not keep them up according to American culture. My bathroom fan was just hanging from the ceiling, smoke alarm by bed was gone and had exposed wires, repairs needed in general. This is typical for foreigners running hotels!

The sunny pool area. No coffee cups in our room, but there was a coffee maker. For the price it was nice, the kids liked the pool.

Refrigerator in one of our rooms. Dirty hot tub, attire of staff. Change in ownership showed. Cups said Days Inn. Pens said Plaza hotel. I don't believe the cleanliness of the hotel would make it a 2 star. It was not very clean. We traveled with 3 price-line motels this trip. This was by far the worst of them.
