Cotswold GrangeLovely building, decor rather tired inside though. Room decor a bit old fashioned too. However, decent sized room, very clean. Breakfast was good;generous and tasty. Garden looked nice.Car park was a good size, overall very good value for money.

Great Value when you visit your children at Cheltenham UniversityA really good value hotel. Near to the University at Pittville. Old and rather worn detached Victorian house with lots of character. Very attentive staff. Bed and Breakfat excellent value. Good cook anfd very enjoyable breakfast of smoked haddock and poached egg. Non of the continental cop out.

Breakfast was good!Sheets were nice but the mattress was not comfortable at all. Staff was nice and helpful. Bathroom a good size and room not that big but not terribly small. The decor could use some updating. Lots of dead flies in the lights in the hallway! 2nd Floor near room 18 if anyone from the hotel is reading this...

Excellent ExpereinceA beautiful hotel, run by very attentive and proffessional people. I had trouble finding the place, but thats says more about my own map redaing skills than anything else!

Excellent customer service, huge room, some furnishings a little worn and not spotlessly clean.

This is a lovely hotel with charater, and one I would reccommend. Very welcoming and accommodating staff. FREE WIFI INTERNET ACCESS! Ample parking, and but a short walk to a good real-ale pub (The Fiery Angel) if you like that sort of thing. Yes the hotel's decor is very dated, as often written on this and other review sites. But I like it, it has character, and in many ways I think that modernising a grand old building like this would spoil it. I would far rather stay somewhere with dated decor but character, than an identi-kit soul-less chain hotel just off a bypass. We were travelling as a family (2 adults, 2 young children), and a had a nice room on the top floor, with separate alcove for the twin beds for the children... which is all we needed. For anyone travelling with young children, there is an excellent park (Pittville Park) nearby, with playpark, animals (peacocks, chipmunks etc).

20 minute walk from racecourse, 10 mins from town, lovely meal in evening, but bar a bit quiet. Room good, though bed small double (said on booking large double!).

My experience was of a pokey single room in the basement, overlooked by flats . The curtains were awful, bedspread dreadful, bathroom unclean. All of this for £65.00!!!!I was in room 28 and a large number of rooms are in the basement. Not acceptable. Otherwise LateRooms need to take responsibility for the hotels they put on their website.

It would not be true to say this hotel is perfect BUT the positives far outweigh any negatives.

Fairly central location. Attractive exterior and surroundings. Decor quite dated. Friendly helpful staff. Lack of lift the major negative point.

The hotel was easy to find, has ample parking. The breakfast was excellent ,we did not try the dinners. The managers greeting was rather cool but he warmed during the stay.

Excellent friendly treatment from hoteliers, fabulous breakfast, decor a bit dated, but I wouldn't fancy decorating a building so vast as this. Great visit. Thanks.

The hotel staff were very friendly and gave some good advice as to places to visit and pubs to check out. The rooms were basic, but clean and the hotel was located in a lovely, leafy part of town about 10mins walk from the city centre.

At £75 I was expecting a better room than a standard B&B but thats what we got. All the floorboards creaked and the decor was very outdated. Still the bed mattress was good quality and we got a good nights sleep.
