This property, which is a 4 stars, First Class category, offers a new concept in accommodation style as it offers the flexibility of an apartment-style accommodation combined with the service of a hotel (e.g breakfast served in the suites, shopping ordered and delivered in the suites, daily cleaning, ...). This concept represents great value for money especially in the larger size suites as up to 4 adults and 2 children can be accommodated. There will be a welcome pack on arrival (once per stay) including all essentials. The property offers limited underground parking at a supplement(CH/0808) This is a newly-built property (August 2008) and is of modern appearance with 4 floors. Cosy's Residence Cadet is located in the Opera area of Paris, in one of the most authentic quarter of the city. The Cadet Street has various shops and restaurants and is walking distance from the Folies Bergeres and the Grands Magasins, where you can find some of the most well-known shops. If you do not feel like walking, the nearest Metro is Cadet, which is a few steps away from the Residence. There is a velib station closeby if you choose to explore Paris by bike. While you are in the heart of Paris, you can also enjoy the quietness of this property as it is set back from the street and has a small japanese-style courtyard at the front.

Family freindly apartment in nice areaWe found the staff at Residence Cosy's Cadet extremely helpfull, the apartment was easy to reach from the airport using the frequent bus and walking distance to the sites.Would go back again.

Great location and really nice holtelReally friendly nice large room - Made the trip to Paris worthwhileOnly draw back is that the Bed was two singles pushed together and since the appartment was tiled thoug out, the beds slid appart slightly in the night, but other than that really good

Excellent base for exploringThe 'hotel' was a little stark in appearance and slightly hidden in a courtyard with no views at all but as a group of serviced apartments it is excellent. The staff were very friendly although no mention was made ref breakfast arrangements - it does not give the appearance of a breakfast area but it is.....honest!. Room was spacious with a full kitchen if the desire takes you and with so many excellent fresh food suppliers immediately outside it would be tempting! Furniture comfortable, beds somewhat firm but ok. Not a lot of noise from other rooms but the floors are all tiled so sound can travel. Such a difference in costs since my last visit to France though.... with the Euro we are now looking at 40% plus increase. Still good bargains to be found if you go local though :-)The hotel is a good base for exploring. 5 mins to the Metro, 20 mins walk from Gare du Nord, easy to go to Montmartre (take the Metro, it's steeper than it looks!!) and plenty of local restaurants and bars en route to wherever you are going. I would recommend it.

great placeVery nice apartment. We were upgraded to big suite for me and my daughter and there was plenty of room. Being British the ability to make a cup of tea in France was welcome but I had brought my own teabags! Reception staff spoke good English and were very helpful.Location is good, only 10 mins to Gare du Nord and 10 mins to Gallerie Layfayette.

Our family break in ParisWe had a good stay, with the location being near enough to the City centre for the sights, but far enough away to have a true Parisian atmosphere to the area, which was also close to the Metro. We have two boys at 11 and 16 , which means our older boy is classed as an adult - this means we would require two rooms at most Paris Hotels. The Residence Cosy Cadet, aparthotel, gave us a great sized, well thought out room, for the four of us, with self-catering equipment, where we could relax and enjoy the City. The local bakery was literally ten yards from the entrance to the courtyard where fresh breakfast products could be enjoyed in the comfort of the room. There were also grocery stores, fresh produce, fish and meat all within a hundred metres. The staff were friendly and spoke good English. We drove to Paris, so it was good to have an underground carpark, for the stay, albeit a little pricey at 25 Euros per night. Overall a good solution for a family break.

A real find...!The apartment was modern, stylish and clean with superb new facilities. The staff are very friendly and made our first trip to Paris a really comfortable one. The central location is ideal for travellers with plans to visit all of the city's attractions. Rue Cadet is a fabulous venue for anyone wishing to sample the cafe lifestyle.

Well located hotel, basic but lots of spaceThe hotel was well located in a bustling little street within walking distance of Gard du Nord if you're arriving by Eurostar.It's quite new, and a few of the fittings appeared a little unfinished, like the shower in our room wasn't fixed to the wall, so we used the bath which isn't very French!While the hotel itself is off the street in a quite court yard. There was a hum from the vent in the kitchen, and we couldn't get the air conditioning to the right temperate for us. If we'd been staying more than the night we'd have asked the staff to have a look. We'd stay again, as it was good value with lots of space and very well located. The reception staff where also very friendly.

friendly and welcomingOne minute from the metro (or two with a heavy suitcase and absolutely no sense of direction) and 25 from the Eurostar entry point of Gare du Nord. Convenient and clean, welcoming and comfortable. Reception staff lovely - even let me practice my French. Also two good patisseries within seconds of the front door (essential for the all-important breakfast croissants). Sound proofing good as presumably small children in other apartments.One minor quibble: the over-the-bath shower could have done with somewhere to lodge the shower head as holding the thing in one hand while juggling soap in the other detracts from the sensual pleasure of hot water.
