Very open, clean, and friendly staff. Food was a bit expensive for what you got. Hotel is very nice with quite comfortable rooms and excellent beds. Very clean and staff are happy to use their English or listen to your Spanish.

We were a little concerned after we booked this hotel, we were cautioned about staying in San Jose, however once we booked it we couldn't change. And I'm so glad we didn't. This hotel has everything you could want in a hotel. The service was excellent, the staff was friendly and accomodating and the admosphere was simply terrific. We mostly traveled outside of San Jose, but it was like coming back home when we got back to the hotel. Absolutely fantastic.

The Marriott Costa Rica was really nice. The rooms were large and very comfortable. The bathroom was clean with plenty of towels. The maid service was great. the location of the hotel was not good. It was isolated from everything. I would consider staying there again if I had my own transportation. The food was good but extremly high.

Great Service from restaurants and staff. Construction to the ceiling in the room where we stayed. Great room and great Service. The Jacuzzi needs to be cleaned better. The water was foggy and dirty. Overall we enjoyed this very cozy and very romantic place.

Staff and facility were very nice. Too noisy - power drilling next to me at 5am. Very nice hotel, My room was extremely noisy. Other than that the hotel was nice - great staff, gym, restaurant, etc.

This hotel is beautiful. The staff is always happy to help. The rooms are big and comfortable. The view from any of the terraces are absolutely breath taking. When I first arrived there was a wedding in progress and I would recommend this hotel to be a top suggestion for receptions. The environment is very relaxing and I can't wait to return.

"I live part time in Costa Rica, and this Marriott is fantastic. Built on a coffee plantation, the views are great. Away from the dirty city of San Jose and close to SJO with free shuttle. Pool and some rooms are under construction right now which causes a lot of unwated noise. Ask to be away from any construction. The Spa and workout room are nice. Service is good and they speak english better than staff at hotels in south florida."

"The Marriott is conveniently located close to the San Jose Airport so you don't have to go in to or out of downtown (which is a GOOD thing!). The grounds are beautiful, amenities plentiful, the hotel is very clean. One drawback we experienced is the beautiful tiled flooring carries noise far too easily. You feel like the outside hallway is in your bedroom."
