The rentals are represented as being within and having access to amenities of the Marriot Los Suenos Resort. Check in was basically picking up the keys outside the project in a modular building. The walk up buildings have no elevators and with no check in assisstance moving luggage is difficult. The units are on the Los Suenos grounds,on the outskirts of the property requiring either a car or golf cart rental as suggested by the agent when we picked up our keys. These units we found had no access to the hotel amenites other than the shopping area and beach club; A man made beach with no ocean access for bathing. The units are well laid out & adequately furnished if not a bit cold: stark walls, no art work. etc. The refreshments provided in the refrigerator were thoughfull & welcomed. Our overall impression of the accomodations after spending the night were that we would not enjoy staying for the planned duration. That morning I contacted a very helpful & courteous staff and was able to cancel the reservation albeit with a 25% charge for the remaining nights of our stay. I conceded, rather than let it ruin an other- wise enjoyable vacation prior to this. In fairness the resort is not below par, just not what our family was expecting.
