Its fabulous trips! we're surpise about the hotel! was great experience and was amazingly easy to get around Hongkong downtown or other islands. For more help perhaps your website need to give more details how to get there - from the airpost to the hotel with specific $$ so we are more prepare how much we expect to spend for the taxi or train, that would be helpful for visitors.

Cosmopolitan Hotel was located on Hong Kong Island, close enough to nightlife and public transportation. All hotel rooms on the south side of the building have frosted windows that do not open.

An excellent hotel for the price. Great service.

The room had no view due to the frosted glass windows at the back of the building which really detracted from the stay.

The room is sufficiently maintained, and mine is one facing the beautiful race course. I especially like their lobby lounge which I made my time to spend there sipping some wine or coffee. Another plus is their rental service of USB modem, which I can connect to my laptop and keep me logged on even when I am outside the hotel. And the rental fee is cheap too.

Had a great time, hotel staff was great.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was close to shopping and tram. Free Shuttle bus to far away locations. Frosted windows on the rear of the building. Small TV. Hotel was clean, and hotel staff was friendly. No pool, small gym. Shuttle bus was convenient. Room was on the small side, but I think normal for Hong Kong. TV small. Bar at the Cosmo hotel next door was empty.

It is a very clean hotel worth the money paid. The hotel staff were helpful. The only drawback is the hotel is a bit away from the metro station, it takes 15 to 20 minutes walk from the hotel.

This is not where you want to stay in HK unless you are a horse racing junkie. Not close to anything except the subway and Aberdeen. I'm used to walking a few blocks for shopping and had to walk at least 15 minutes just to find 7 11. Rooms are small even by HK standards.

the cosmopolitan hotel was well decorated,,,staff was very accommodating but the bed was very hard we asked for two extra comforters to soften and the staff got them to us pretty quickly,we upgraded and the bed was a bit softer and you got a great view from the 18th floor or higher.the location isnt so great it is about eight blocks to times square which has the nearest subway stop but my rump and thighs look great after ten days

The Hotel was confortable, the room was nice and had internet acces. The location was ok and the hotel provides shuttle buses to the shopping area but it is far from the Hong Kong Island.

Located very close to Happy Valley. The back of the hotel faces a cemetery so all the windows on that side are frosted out. Your experience in this hotel will be entirely determined by which side of the hotel your room is on. The entire back half of the hotel faces a cemetery and the full-sized windows in each room are frosted out entirely to prevent you from seeing it.

The location is not very good as it's at least 15min by taxi to convention center and central Wan Chai

Friendly staff. Inconvenient location. Friendly staff. Very inconvenient location.

I expected more for my money at The Cosmopolitan Hotel. The room was small but clean. The view of the race track was nice. I found it odd that internet in the lobby was free, but in-room was for a fee. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from Times Square in Causway Bay, however, the hotel does provide a courtesy shuttle. There is also a free shuttle to the HK Convention Center, as well as the MTR Admiralty and Central stations.

Free wireless internet at the lobby. Not a convenient location.

Convenient location; very clean and helpful staff. Rooms were very small. The Cosmopolitan was conveniently located, very clean and the staff was very helpful.
Date of Stay:

Free shuttle bus. Isolated location, small room, no window. The clean lady did not change our amenities everyday, and we need to ask for the new toothbrush and soap every evening. Room was extremely small with no window, very dark inside. The location is also far from any subway station, need to walk at least 10~15 min. to the nearest station.
Date of Stay:
September, 2008
Not the best location but for the money you cannot beat it.
