art deco charm, entrance on a quiet cul de sac, excellent breakfast, reception/concierge extremely pleasant and helpful, spacious tub & good water pressure for shower, spacious rooms

Okay. This is NOT the ST. George, but for the price, you can't beat the location and the service. Rooms are larger than more expensive Paris hotels, but with sparse and utilitarian furnishings. If you're used to Holiday Inn (USA) then you'll be fine. Will stay there again just cuz of the Staff."

The staff was very helpful especially since we didn't speak the language. Room had everything we needed. The price for the breakfast was a bit high for what you got. Overall no complaints. Not somewhere to have honeymoon but for busy tourists if was nice, clean and in a good location.

We just came back from our first trip to Paris and this hotel was just what we needed. A few steps from the metro, there was a bistro across the hotel that you can have breakfast for half of what the hotel charges for their continental breakfast, a little supermarket, and so many other food places nearby. The staff was friendly and ready to help in any language. We will for sure come back!

Location, quiet street. Small elevator. Heat was off at night - could not determine if this was by design or a failure of equipment. When I called down to reception at 3:00 am, they brought a plug in heater within a minute.

Overall, the hotel was o.k. The location of the hotel is not that bad. It is close to many restaurants and convenient stores as well as near a metro stop. The rooms, however, had nothing to offer and were uncomfortable. The staff was really friendly and helpful.

General location is near local restaurants and close to metro. Requires walking through a dark alley at nighttime, unsafe for female travelers. The hotel is located in a decent area; however one must walk through a dark alley at nighttime to get to the front door. This was not a problem for me as I was traveling with my fiancé, however I would urge caution to female travelers walking alone. Positives include the staff speaking English and a metro stop is around the corner. The rooms are dated and small, but the bathrooms are very clean.

Location and hotel staff were great. Rooms were small and could not control heating. Hotel was fine but somewhat overpriced for what it offered. Bathrooms were excellent, clean though small. Room stayed too hot and could not control temp. Somewhat noisy location.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very small rooms, under renovation, difficult to find, no parking. This hotel in the Opera District of Paris has easy access (less than one block) to the Metro (sub way). It was very expensive however for what I would call a 2.5 star hotel. If fact I have stayed in Super 8 motels that had nicer rooms. For the leisure traveler I would recommend Hostel World found on the Ryan Air web site, for apartments and hotels for half the price and of similar quality to this one.

Close to metro station. Had to walk down alley, hard beds, very small room. The first night we were put in a room with 2 twin beds pushed together to look like a double. The second room had a double bed, but it was so hard that I hurt my neck and could not turn it for the rest of the trip (I have traveled a lot and this had never happened). The room was very small, but the bathroom was clean.

Very close to a Metro Station and a Great Crepe Stand. Allowed early check-in. Hotel is on a small, dark street and the rooms are small by American standards. For the money, Hotel Corona was a great option. It was very close to the metro and many other great spots in Paris. Good for travelers who don't want to spend a fortune on hotels.

Location convenient to metro and walking distance to many places. Bathroom clean, well-equipped. Bed-springs starting to poke through mattress. Bed cover and carpet look dingy. The hotel is on a courtyard with a number of small hotels making it a bit more quiet and quaint than if it was on a busy street. Staff is friendly. International English language newspapers are provided. A little refurbishing of rooms would make this a lovely little hotel.

Close to cheap restaurants. Some guys standing at the street at nights a kind of scary. The hotel is good and almost in a good location (considering the price), close to some cheap food shops. Its clean. The staff are very helpful and polite. The elevator is very small. Didn't eat there, cannot comment on the food. Basically everything is good. The only problem is that the hotel is at the end of a narrow alley, and sometimes taxis don't go there and some young guys are standing at the beginning of this alley especially at night and its a kind of scary. Nothing happened to us, but I think the hotels in that alley should do something about it. These guys, even if they don't do anything, hurt the hotel reputation.

Internet not free; very cramped room. Paris was part of the problem (very dirty now; not at all romantic), but this hotel did not help. It's in a nice little area set off from the street with a bunch of other hotels, but it's still a way off from anything and the area is pretty dirty on the streets.

Its location is perfect for a tourist in Paris. The price was somewhat high for its quality. The hotel is located at an excellent location in Paris for tourists in terms of distance from metro/bus lines, restaurants and many attractions. We expected a slightly better hotel (larger room, complimentary coffee, Internet etc).

The location is off the main roads so there is no traffic noise. Elevator is very small. The hotel location was great, the local knowledge and willingness to go above and beyond anything that was expected by the staff was incredible. I was absolutely amazed by the entire staff from the guy changing the light bulbs to the manager. Great hotel in a wonderful location for hitting Paris sites.

Bathroom was spacious. It was located close to a metro stop. The carpet was disgusting, the bed was in poor condition, and the bathroom sink was clogged. This hotel is in a fun part of Paris, but it's located in an alleyway with hoodlums constantly loitering in the alley entryway. The rooms are very small even by European standards. The furniture is in good condition, but the carpet, wallpaper, and bed are all in really bad shape. It deserves a 2 star rating, not 3. I actually switched to the best western axel opera (a real 3 star hotel), which is 100m away, cheaper, and the rooms are much cleaners and bigger.
