Overview:
The Corinthia Grand Royal Hotel Budapest is found in the heart of the city on Erzsebet Boulevard, district VII. This places the accommodation within a short distance of the Budapest Opera House and the major shopping centers.
The hotel is found at Erzebet Korut 43-49 in Budapest.
The Corinthia Grand Royal Hotel Budapest offers comfortable and spacious rooms.
The Corinthia Grand Royal Hotel Budapest property was originally created in the late 1800s. However, it has been renovated over the years, most recently in 2003. It has now been restored to its classical elegance but with new features befitting of the modern century. Much effort has been made to preserve the architecture and décor of the original hotel, including the grand stairway. Guests will also appreciate contemporary art pieces hung on the walls as well as inlayed marble flooring. There are also onsite restaurants, cafes, coffee houses and bars. Check out the Royal Spa which offers luxurious amenities like a swimming pool, sauna, steam bath, Jacuzzi, tropical rain showers, Niagara bathtubs, mud baths, seaweed baths and massage.

The beds are sub-standard and do not compare with other top class hotels. The service standards lack sincerity.

It was out second stay in this hotel, and of wasn't quite as perfect as the first one. Housekeeping was less efficient, we even ran out of toilet paper...and had to ask for it. Air conditionning was chaotic and smelled terrible but was fixed quickly. All in all it's a great hotel (which is the least hou expect of a 5* hotel) but not perfect.

We booked into an executive room which gave us access to the executive lounge. This rather surprisingly entitled us to free drinks and canapes for the period we were there. The location of the hotel is fantastic, right onto the main drag in the new town but well within walking distance of the old town (which has better bars and restaurants).

Located a little away from the Tourist action but within a five minute walk to the nearest metro station.

The hotel feels very grand is very central. Our room was on the fifth floor and the window opened on to the restaurant below which had a live mini orchestra playing most of the time which set a great atmosphere! The spa facilities in the hotel are 1st class and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time here and I highly recommend it.

This is a very special place. We visited 5 years ago when the Corinthia had just re-opened and were very impressed, our second visit in August 2008 revealed that standards remain exceptionally high throughout. The staff are curtious and polite, the service is prompt and effecient and the food is excellent. Try the room service, we ordered twice it was so good. The hotel also presented me with a complimentary bottle of Champagne and a card as it was my Birthday, this was totally unexpected. We will definately be returning for a third visit, can't wait to go back.

this is a very pleasant hotel. The staff were very helpful and there were always staff on hand to ask if you needed anything. we were surprised to be upgraded, as guests of the day, to a junior suite at no extra cost. The suite was great, but best of all was the executive lounge which we were now able to use. Here you are provided with breakfast, a simple buffet lunch and evening drinks and canapes. This was all rather relaxing and unexpected. The spa is a lovely quiet space with an area to lie around and relax and two spa baths, the pool itself is a bit on the cool side but OK. All in we had a lovely stay.

VERY good and nice hotel, everything just fantastics..but...keep away from the minibar, that will ruin you... ca 10 euro for an 0.75l bottle of water. The location was good, shopping street just outside the door, the staff was amazing, and very helpfull..We will sure come back here...!!!!!! =)

On site spa (free to hotel guests) was an added bonus! 10min pleasant walk to tourist sites and shops. Local tram easy. Conseige at hotel helpful in booking theatre/taxis/restaurants. Hotel food expensive so didn't eat there.

The rate provide by Hotel Club provided real value for an excellent five star hotel. An ideal location for those looking for a touch of old world elegance.

The hotel was just perfect! All staff was very helpfull, friendly and serviceminded. The pool and spa were amazing. Breakfastbuffet was extensive. The incomeall was impressive. Minibar was expensive, but coffee and thea were available for free. On my birthday I got a bottle of champagne from the manager of the hotel. Very close to the hotel (2 streets away) is a nice square with good restaurants, winebars and pubs (not touristic at all). The place to be in the evening.

This is one of the best hotels for the price i have ever stayed in worldwide and i spend 1/2 of my life in hotels. It is ideally located within walking distance of the Opera House and there is a huge selection of Bistros and Restaurants to choose from near by. The staff could not be more helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is fantastic and the Coffee Shop is well worth a visit for some fantastic Pastries. I have recomended it to all my friends and colleagues i am sure you will too.

wonderful hotel - but for a price! Stunning building, large room. Excellent breakfast buffet. Good location for Pest, not so much for Buda/Castle Hill etc., but easy access by public transport. The single best thing about this hotel has to be the swimming pool - a real gem of a typical Budapest bath, like a private little Gellert, only more recently modernized (i.e. better than the real thing!). Absolutely lovely.

Beautiful hotel in good location, close to restaurants & metro etc..Excellent breakfast included with great price we got with HotelClub. Beautiful Spa, only complaint was the heat of the room, we had to ask for a fan on the second day as we thought we were going to die with the heat as there is no window to the outside only to the inner atrium.
