Puerto de Alcudia is on the northeast coast of Mallorca -Balearic Islands Spain- 52km -31 miles- north of the capital Palma and around the same distance from the airport. Overlooking the northern end of the bay and beach Puerto de Alcudia also branches inland around a small series of lakes and canals. The resort is completely flat. The broad long main beach at Puerto de Alcudia stretches for around 12km -7 miles- around the bay. It is the longest and according to many the best beach on the island certainly large enough to accommodate the summer multitude. The golden sands shelve gently to the sea providing ideal bathing for young families.
