What are your breakfast options?: We offer breakfast and it is served 7:00 am - 9:00 am.
What transport is available to get around?: There are plenty of airport shuttles that operate between Cairns and Port Douglas. However, there is a limited local bus service from Oak Beach into Port Douglas. We offer transfers from Coral Sea Retreat into town for $15 each way and there is an option for taxis as well. Also, we offer transfers to the beach and this is for free. Most guests hire a car because it gives them greater flexibility for travelling around the region, and tour operators pick up guests from our property.
What can I do nearby?: We have a large freshwater style swimming pool, spa and pavilion on the property. DVD's are available for guests use in the pavilion or in the rooms. The nearest beach is approximately 1 kilometre from Coral Sea Retreat and Port Douglas is approximately a 10-15 minute drive. We are situated high on a ridge overlooking the beautiful Coral Sea and coastal rainforest. Our property is well situated for day trips to Cairns, the Great Barrier Reef, Tablelands, Daintree and Cape Tribulation.
