In general, the hotel is very well located, new and very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is adequate, but not outstanding. The bar and restaurant area is superbly sited, but more could be made of it to make it attractive to guests. A hotel of this standard would benefit from gym facilities and the charging system for use of internet seems rather petty. That said, we were pleased with the room.

We were upgraded to a Lakeview Room which was lovely. Rooms spacious and modern. Easy walk into town.

Excellent hotel, however, the staff do need to understand their role is to assist patrons, not simply have job. This is more likely a reflection on the attitudes of the predominately young people employed, but it does show a lack of training from the corporate management of hotel chains that have failed to produce staff who look to serve their patrons in the hope of return visits. An example come to mind. Blinds faulty as a result of housekeeping malfunction. I left it to see what would happen, obviously not reported or followed up. I had to report and ask for probelm to be fixed yet staff were in there on two occasions to 'clean up' and didn't take it upon themsleves to ensure their guests room was up to standard. These are matters of training and the prevailing Generational culture that could be improved. It is not a reflection upon the Hotel which was otherwise very well appointd and suited us very well.

With a cheap rate through [website] this was a great deal. A 5 minute walk from the town but still a good location. Comfortable rooms and very helpful staff it is a nice place to stay. Especiall suit couples

At top of hill about a 15 walk to town / Rooms clean but can be hard to get to as building is on slope and walk to room can be long. / Parking is an issue on one park operational due to furniture in other car park may have to de ice your car if outside! / Breakfast choice average / Dinner meals poor dont recommended eating in too expensive and lack flair for the price. /Staff great very fiiendly

Price was higher but this may probably be on account of busy season. The staff at the hotel were exceptionally efficient and courteous. I had some problem when I returned to the room late one night and found the flush not operaing. On reporting the matter to the front desk they immediately took action to check the problem and then to shift me to another room. It was a very pleasant stay.

Average 3.5 tourist class hotel, Room is comfortably appointed but bathrooms need renovation. often has large groups of coach travellers. Easy walk into Queenstown (down hill).

English comprehension was a little lacking on the front desk. The room the second night was wonderful. Both rooms were lacking light bulbs that worked.
