Poor quality hotel that has gone down hill.I used this hotel on business a few years ago and it was excellent but it has deteriorate badly since then. The hotel is in dire need of refurbishment and I would not class this as a 4 star hotel by any standards . I did not pay the full list price fro the room which was supposed to be a luxury room (£260) but even at the reduced rate of £76 I would not consider it good value. I have stayed in better Preier Inns.

I stayed at this hotel, because of its location, it is close to tram, rail and bus links. It is also only a 5 minute walk to OLd trafford.

Only spent one night here, would have been great to stay the weekend! Good location, good access to public transport, clean place and helpful staff.

A rather tired but relatively clean hotel near to Brunswik Arms brewery and pub, and a few good asian restaurants

4 star...???There was only shampoo at tolietries in the bathroom, glad that I stayed in this hotel on a special offer of £66.00 and not the full price, agree with other travellers comments that the hotel needs updating, the ceilings in the corridors look like they are going to fall down and also no AC in the building.Would not recomend this hotel, the directions are minimal and it is better to get off at Exchange Quay stop on the tram and not Salford Quays stop.

Excellent Customer CareHaving read reviews for this hotel I was slightly dubious. My husband and I both felt that the customer service was excellent, we asked for additional toiletries and they were in the room within tem minutes. Rooms are a bit tired and old fashioned but we felt they represented value for money. Only problem was you could hear doors banging shut in the early hours! All in all I would recommend the location and the hotel as an excellent base for a short stay.

Jacobs, June stay room 321The service was good except i left my phone charger in the room i rang the hotel at around1800 on the day I left was told house keeping were not in so they could not deal with my problem and to call back (unhelpful) I asked to leave a message which became ok and that house keeping would contact me as yet no phone call (POOR)Room Quality was ok except there was no air conditioning available (4* think Poor and should be mentioned in Boucher) Also there was no air con in the restaurant or lounge areas it was so hot that sweat was dripping off me when asked if we could eat on the patio ok but could not have restaurant food out there beats me why (poor) didn't even have fans running mixing the air around.

Tired hotel in need of renovationOverpriced, tired room. Supposedly a superior room, but of average size with no extras. Furniture and walls in room were scuffed. Information file in room was sticky and contents tatty and ripped. I remembered this a good quality hotel from a visit to the area 6 years ago, but we were disapointed with the room and won't be staying again. Needs redecorating and new furniture in rooms.Staff were friendly and helpful.

4 star hotel? While the hotel was clean and fairly smart, the rooms were looking a bit dated and could really do with air con being fitted. The breakfast service was poor, there was a big queue despite there being tables that were free but not cleared. No glasses for orange juice, wasn't offered tea/coffee and it was ages before a waitress made eye contact with us so we could request some. Good point: it was very close to old trafford and exchange quay tram station.

one nighter one hell of a breakfast!cant argue about cost it was well overpriced but i knew that after booking so late.had breakfast the morning after and was just about to tuck in when my wife noticed green mould on my bread i brought it to the attention of the manageress who quickly took the plate off me swiveled on her heels and then dis appeared towards the exit with no apology no explanation !!

Good location but quality of room poorThis hotel is ideally situated for staying in Manchester (after going to concerts etc) but for the price of the room I did expect more. We stayed in a quayside room which was very expensive (not by choice but there were no cheaper rooms available) but the room itself was no better than the standard rooms that I have stayed in at this hotel previously. I would stay here again but I would make sure I book early to get a standard room as the more expensive rooms are not worth the extra money.

comfortable & convenientWe stayed here as it was conveniently close to Old Trafford; a 15 min walk. The hotel was comfortable and welcoming. The staff were really helpful and we had an excellent bar meal prior to the Take That concert. The rooms were nice although extremely hot. They didn't appear to be air conditioned which meant we had to open the windows and there was quite a bit of traffic noise. I would happily stay here again if i was visiting Old Trafford or having a shopping trip to The Trafford Centre.

Maxie & SueRoom was as expected for the standard of the hotel had nice view on to the waterfront, reception staff at check in and check out very friendly and helpful, only dissapointment was the outside terrace was closed at night and the bar was very small so nowhere to sit in the end we had to take our drinks to our room

Free carparking excellent. Room had been refurbished but not the bathroom (very dated).

Very nice hotel. Did not think normal charging rate realistic glad we got a cheaper rate. Would recommend to friends.
