I would stay there again. Handy central city location. The only problem was car parking - not enough space.

Casino is just across the road. Takes about 8 mins to walk to Cathedral Sq. Only issue I had was with the parking. Very limited parking within the hotel. Other than that... A++ :)

Location to central Chch is a big plus-very close to Town Hall and Casino. Within easy walk of main down town shops. Limited off street parking,some inside (basement0, some outside.Staff is consistently helpful and young. Small but adequate gym and spa/sauna.Pleasant bar and dining. Traffic noise a factor on Durham St side of hotel.

The room didn't strike me as being worth $199 as it was listed for in the travel guide but the rate I paid of $67 seemed fair. More than 8 tv channels would've been nice. The floor in my room under the carpet was "wonky"....is the hotel settling?? Staff was very pleasant.

Street noise can be improved. No security check after normal hours entry. Lightings in the room are excellent. Clothes handler behind bathroom door a bit hight for Asian people. Needs a clothes-line in the bathroom for clothes drying.
