We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Copthorne...exceeded our expectations in all areas. Will stay with you guys again when we are in Christchurch again.

The general areas of the hotel were fine but our bedroom smelt musty and the net curtains needed a good wash. The bedside light did not work. The toilet flush barely worked. The bathroom needed maintenance. We enjoyed our stay and the staff were very friendly and helpful. However I might look for an alternative hotel next time.

Loved being able to overlook the park and to open the window for fresh air. Location was excellent and food in the restaurant was very good.

Great central location just a short walk from Cathedral Square at the cntre of Christchurch. My room had a plesant outlook over Victoria Park and to the snow capped peaks in the distance. Spacious well appointed room. Friendly service from the staff. A regular choice for my Christchurch visits.

We enjoyed our stay at the Copthorne our only criticsm being that the bed linen was not pressed. This can create an element of doubt in the mind of the customer as to whether the linen is indeed fresh. Clean, well pressed linen was obvious at other facilities we stayed at on our short trip around New Zealand.

Pretty standard hotel for it's class, very good location. We got [website] last minute prices so it was very good value for us but wouldn't pay full price for what was essentially a pleasant enough but bland stay.

Hotel looks & feels a bit tired, breakfast selection/facilities not really up to 4 star standard. Room basin was cracked, compendium was out of date and condition of furniture was not all that good

as a senior citizen not very stable on my feet a grab rail over the bath might help. had a very enjoyable stay. thank you
