Room was comfortable enough. TV was old and reception was not that good. We were at the noisy end of the hotel by the viaduct Harbour and as such didn't have a good nights sleep. Location is great as we were dining at the viaduct Harbour. Would stay there again.

Close to Harbour and to downtown. Good public transport. Friendly and helpful staff. An excellent hotel, close to the Harbour and to many attractions, and in the Auckland downtown area.

The position is the best. Across the road from the waterfront and all the amenities and entertainment that are there. An older style hotel now but efficient and comfortable. Good value

Manager Mr. [W...] was very helpful and accommodating. Though the property is quite worn and tired, the staff is first class and the location excellent.

Reception were VERY helpful at various time s- especially when we encountered difficulties obtaining a print of our flight reservation details over the web. They went to a lot of effort on our behalf and never once failed to rise to the challenge. We were very impressed with this hotel - it's location , in particular, is ideal for both the shops and the many boat trips out of Auckland to the islands . We will return !

A basic unimpressive hotel. I believed I was getting a bargain when I booked this place but left feeling ripped off. Definitely doesn't deserve the 4 star rating, Could pass for a budget 3 star at best.

The hotel location is great. We have access to the habour view and dinning out area. We have minor problem with car parking space. but the staffs was helpful after all.

Very handy to down town Auckland and the harbour viaduct.Double glazing eliminates street noise,older hotel with rooms partially upgraded.Well priced at Rates to Go prices.General an acceptable standard.

We were very impressed with the service we received from all staff at this hotel. They were extremely helpful & very friendly. We also noted that they were very helpful & accomodating towards the older customers also staying there. The food in the restraunt was of a high standard too. We loved their scrambled eggs.
