The hotel was built in 1913, allegedly at the instigation of King Frederik VIII. The Copenhagen Plaza a part of the Profilhotels chain is located in the heart of Copenhagen and looks out at Tivoli itself, right opposite the Central Station with all its local and domestic connections and just 12 minutes from the airport.
