very well maintained and has a country inn feel with a

It felt like being in 1925. No a/c. Reception person friendly. He tried but didn't know facts. How many rooms? History? Room fairly clean but really OLD. We had a "suite". Bed and sitting room separated by bathroom. Extra sink in sitting room with rust in sink. It was probably a neat spot in 1926. Cal would have loved it.

Old style hotel in an old town. The morning clerk was not to personable. Very nice hotel located next to an old train station. The hotel itself is very old but is well maintained. The town it's located in is small but very quiet and clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The Hotel Coolidge was interesting because of its history, but I wish more money had gone toward remodeling and upkeep. The hotel was clean but somewhat shabby. I liked the fact that there was a sitting room and two sinks, but the shower had very little water pressure and inconsistent water temperature. The cable/satellite TV signal was poor. Several channels did not come in clearly at all. For the price, I would have expected more amenities such as a fitness center or even a complimentary breakfast bar. I would recommend the hotel for a short stay, but I would hesitate to return. I could probably find better accomodations for the price.

White River Junction (and the Hotel Coolidge) seem lost in time--a town with few amenities within the confines of the town itself and few patrons.
