The previous reviewer seems to have had a bad day. Most reviews on other sites give the convenient resort Clean simple you get what you pay for - close to the airport and good for that.

Whatever you do do not stay here. What was to be a reasonably priced & convenient lay over between flights turned me into a 'hotel rage' customer. It is a basic hotel miles from anywhere, except the airport - how dare they lie calling it a resort - it is bare bones basic. Almost all the staff have any language skills (English was a huge problem) - complaints were easier to ignore than help. Do I need to mention bed bugs in a relatively new and seemingly clean hotel? The food in the restaurant (well the American breakfast anyway) was served stone cold. The so called free wifi internet worked for about 3hrs during my 3day stay. The free airport transfer???? they tried to charge me triple the taxi cost. But by far the worst aspect was the Hotels policy - I booked & prepaid for a double room for 3nights - when I turned up with my partner they insisted on charging an additional 75% (500baht / night) - oh and guess what they will charge an extra 5% to pay it with credit card - but that is not all they have a 'NO REFUND' policy - so you cant even leave in disgust without loosing all the prepaid. If I had the time and the language skills I would have loved taking them to the Tourism Police. At least my 2nd Hotel in Thailand was as good as this one was bad - helping to wipe the sour taste from my mouth.

we particulary appreciated to have a free shuttle to pick us from the airport to the hotel and to carry us from the hotel to the airport.

The airport is 45 minutes taxi ride from most parts of Bangkok. If you have a late arrival or early flight out this is a great option. Clean, simple, friendly, and easy on the wallet. 2 adults and a child arrived after midnight, they had no record of our (very last minute) reservation, but they got us a room, a wake up call, and arranged a fair priced car to take us on to Koh Samet. It's not somewhere to spend a week, but it does what it's aiming to - and does it well...

Very handy location for the airport. They have a hourly shuttle bus to the airport starting very early in the morning. They even serve an interesting breakfast at 6am.

Accommodations are much more sparse than the web description would lead you to believe, but room was immaculate and staff were very friendly.

A very ‘convenient’ hotel indeed. My only problem was the exchange rate they used. Make sure you get the estimate on Late Rooms in Thai Bhat. When I arrived I paid what I thought to be the correct fee – only to be awoken by the hotel staff a few hours later. I had no idea what the problem was and was taken downstairs. I then had to wait thirty minutes in the reception to be told that I had not paid the correct amount for the room. The receptionist had made a mistake when I finally managed to get some sense out of the manger he showed me that the currency converter they used was 75Baht to £1 – at the time the exchange rate was only 60.33. A petty complaint, as we were only talking about a £3 increase, but something that you should be aware of, compared to other hotels I stayed at, this was very expensive.

Good overnight hotel for transit. A short taxi ride to the airport or take the free shuttle bus. The staff were very helpful.

We located the room through [website]; otherwise, might not have known it existed. We appreciated the clean, attractive room. However, we were disappointed to learn that we were excluded from having breakfast included, seeing that other guests got breakfast with their stay. It was our understanding that we got the same room and whatever was included as walk-up guests.

This new little hotel is clean and truly convenient from Bangkok Airport. Make sure to get your online quote in Baht to insure you know what you are paying at the desk. Wireless internet was broken when I visited. Great option for quick overnight near airport, but actual location is in the middle of empty field. I booked online at airport and went straight to hotel with printout - no problems at all. I'd recommend for anyone who wants to avoid high priced hotels.

The staff do not speak very much English and the room was very basic, it was not clean and the smell in the area was awful. Did not stay the two nights as arranged but moved to a better area in the morning.

Transfer pickup instructions were confusing and caused delays. Excellent location for overnight stay close to new airport, but maybe not good for extended stay. Room bare (nothing to sit on), but clean and spacious. Good value

This is a great hotel if you have a very early flight out or late flight into BK. Nothing special in terms of facilities, but clean, good-sized rooms and helpful staff. Have stayed there twice. Free drop off at airport also a bonus. Don't bother with the set breakfast - terrible! Order the a la carte Thai food which is much better.

We used the Convient Resort Hotel because we came down from Lop Buri and had to catch a flight at 3am the following morning. The price was right by redeeming award points and location and free ride to the airport worked out great. Nice staff and would use the hotel again.

This is a suitable hotel for overnighting while waiting for a connecting flight. It is in a rather scruffy semi-industrial area 10 minutes by mini van from the airport but seemed quite safe. The greeting staff at the airport who made contact with the mini van for transport to and from the airport, and the hotel staff, were helpful and friendly and the room was spacious and clean.

Built-in Fitness Centre - No Lift !! In-house taxi service (other than the included airport pick up) is a rip-off. Great for a "stop-over" at airport NBG for anything else !

The Convenient Resort Bangkok was suitable for overnight stay, the bedroom and bathroom being clean and tidy though a bit shabby. Breakfast ok. Made good use of free shuttle back to airport. Would use again for convenience.
