I only spent one night at this hotel after flying into Bangkok on a long haul flight. Fine for the price, friendly staff, no elevator as far as I could see. Free shuttle to and from the airport, tip appreciated but not asked for of course but given, of course. Basic room but not bare bones basic. Great location after a long flight.

The previous reviewer seems to have had a bad day. Most reviews on other sites give the convenient resort Clean simple you get what you pay for - close to the airport and good for that.

Whatever you do do not stay here. What was to be a reasonably priced & convenient lay over between flights turned me into a 'hotel rage' customer. It is a basic hotel miles from anywhere, except the airport - how dare they lie calling it a resort - it is bare bones basic. Almost all the staff have any language skills (English was a huge problem) - complaints were easier to ignore than help. Do I need to mention bed bugs in a relatively new and seemingly clean hotel? The food in the restaurant (well the American breakfast anyway) was served stone cold. The so called free wifi internet worked for about 3hrs during my 3day stay. The free airport transfer???? they tried to charge me triple the taxi cost. But by far the worst aspect was the Hotels policy - I booked & prepaid for a double room for 3nights - when I turned up with my partner they insisted on charging an additional 75% (500baht / night) - oh and guess what they will charge an extra 5% to pay it with credit card - but that is not all they have a 'NO REFUND' policy - so you cant even leave in disgust without loosing all the prepaid. If I had the time and the language skills I would have loved taking them to the Tourism Police. At least my 2nd Hotel in Thailand was as good as this one was bad - helping to wipe the sour taste from my mouth.

The airport is 45 minutes taxi ride from most parts of Bangkok. If you have a late arrival or early flight out this is a great option. Clean, simple, friendly, and easy on the wallet. 2 adults and a child arrived after midnight, they had no record of our (very last minute) reservation, but they got us a room, a wake up call, and arranged a fair priced car to take us on to Koh Samet. It's not somewhere to spend a week, but it does what it's aiming to - and does it well...

For the price paid, and the purpose as a stopover near the airport, this hotel was a exceptional. OK no thrills but free wifi, room with balcony and pleasant service. Would use again for sure.

A very âconvenientâ hotel indeed. My only problem was the exchange rate they used. Make sure you get the estimate on Late Rooms in Thai Bhat. When I arrived I paid what I thought to be the correct fee â only to be awoken by the hotel staff a few hours later. I had no idea what the problem was and was taken downstairs. I then had to wait thirty minutes in the reception to be told that I had not paid the correct amount for the room. The receptionist had made a mistake when I finally managed to get some sense out of the manger he showed me that the currency converter they used was 75Baht to Â£1 â at the time the exchange rate was only 60.33. A petty complaint, as we were only talking about a Â£3 increase, but something that you should be aware of, compared to other hotels I stayed at, this was very expensive.

Ideal over night accom if passing thru main Bangkok airport. We were met and transferred to the hotel with ease. Place is clean and new - a great stop off.

This is only a short distance from the airport and the hotel provided me with complimentary shuttle service both to and from the airport. They also gave me a cot for my son at no additional cost, which was much appreciated. Staff are very friendly and welcoming and bar/restaraunt serves food and drink until midnight, rooms are spacious with basic facilities, warm-ish water for shower with beautiful views of the scenery from hotel. Just the ticket for a convenient overnight stay, although if you want to see more of bangkok it is quite a long way out from the sights.

I have stayed already umpteen times at Convenient Resort as it is very convenient place to catch your realy morning flight. Rooms are basic, but very clean. TV in the room. Restaurant outside offers Thai food at very reasonable rates. Close to Suvarnabhumi Airport with free shuttle service. Definitively NOT a place to stay longer than one night as it is on the field in the middle of nowhere, a stone thow from runway east. Very good value for money.

very convenient to Suvarnabhumi airport for inexpensive overnight stay- free bus to a'port is good bonus!

Perfect choice for a quick overnight stay near the airport. no frills but the room was large and clean and short distance from the airport. the airport pick-up contact was found easily through the information desk who made an announcement and they turned up 5 mins later.

Great stay for stop over. Easy transfers and very pleasant staff ,good food and very good facilities. Only issue was with the shower that was a little complicated to use without instructions or a demonstration.

This is an OK, basic hotel for 1 night before flying out of Bangkok. Plus: free hotel transfers to from the Survabhumi (sp?) airport. I was very impressed at how organized they were; we arrived to the airport w/o calling ahead and found that they have a person with a sign of the hotel name. This person has a list with our names and other customers who are checking in for the day. WIthin a few minutes, the hotel van came and picked us up. The transfer to the hotel was just as impressive. Negative: It's understanding that the hotel is far from the center of Bangkok b/c it's close to the airport. However, the location of the aiport was difficult for taxi driver to find at night. If pricing is >$30USD, my opinion is it's too much.

Perfect for an overnight layover in Bangkok. The airport transfer was prompt, comfortable, and easy. The hotel doesn't have an elevator -- no problem if you can walk up and down stairs. They'll take your luggage up and down for you. But it's not accessible for wheelchairs or others with limited mobility. The shower is typical Thai -- just a showerhead in the bathroom (more or less over the toilet). No dedicated shower space or shower curtain. The wireless internet worked in my room on the 3rd floor. I'd stay there again for an overnight layover.
