The location was perfect and the room was quiet. The only item that I didn't like was the difficulty accessing Michigan Avenue which required using two different elevators and a trip through a mall. Otherwise you had to use two different elevators and then walk around two blocks and up a set of stairways.

Very friendly staff. We ordered a large room service order and it was prompt and hot. The tv had a poor picture and someone was sent immediately to repair it. The beds, pillows were awesome. I would definatley stay there again. The only down side was the $48 charge to have my car parked over night. But, now I know!

The Conrad Chicago is a neat-o facility in a perfect location. The hotel itself is interesting in that it sits on top of, and next to a four story, relatively luxurious mall. The lobby is on the 5th floor. Able-bodied guests can skip the valet service and park directly across Rush Street in the structure (which is connected to the hotel via a walkway over the street). This parking structure is where the valets will park your car anyway (for 49 per day, versus 29 if you self-park and have the front desk provide a validation). Also, this process will help you understand the need to take three different elevators to reach your room from the parking area. It sounds annoying; but once you get the hang of it, you will feel like a pro. Inside, the hotel and our room were spotless - which is a requirement of ours. The man at the front desk when we checked in, and the woman when we checked out, were both top notch and could work at any luxury hotel. The other front desk personnel we encountered, and the Concierge staff regrettably, were a little amateur-ish and attempted to be "stuffy," which was kind of funny really. That was the only real negative. Our room was huge by big city standards - the bathroom alone was as big as some entire hotel rooms. Although we were not booked for a particular "view room;" we overlooked the city and river from the 16th of 17 floors; nice to be up high. Also, the workout facility is spacious, well-equipped and super nice. Once you navigate the elevator maze to get out of the hotel and mall, you couldn't be in a better central spot. Highly recommended by a 34m/44f hipster couple from Michigan.

Easy to get to from Expressway, easy self- or valet parking, extremely convenient location - walking distance to EVERYTHING. Lobby is on 5th floor, elegant and quiet. Nice terrace there as well. Rooms were comfortable and luxurious; the bathtub was the best I've ever had anywhere - including bathrooms I've renovated! I will stay here every time I go to Chicago.

no in-room coffee maker, no refrigerator, no access to coffee unless you want to get dressed & walk- this would convince my husband & I not to stay here again although we got a great Chicago rate over the holiday. Seems like a small detail, but it was important to us with a family of four.

A very nice hotel, with very comfortable rooms. No pool is a little issue with young children. Located great with very good service.

Upscale. Modern decorations. Very chic. Also free WiFi. No parking. Expensive overnight self park or valet. Very upscale. Great ambiance. The rooms were very luxurious with great sized modern bathrooms with lots of marble counter top, marble floors, separate glass encased stall shower and large recessed tub. Also great sound system: Bose surround sound on TV/radio!

I still can't get over how nice the rooms were! We even had a large, flat-screen tv. The best part, however, was the staff. Everyone we encountered was always friendly and helpful. The small details are what made this hotel so enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is right in the Magnificent Mile, the most beautiful street, in front of all the architectural landmarks, three blocks from Millenium Park and three to the Navy Pier. We got a great deal in our package for hotel and flights, and we had heard that hotels in Chicago were really expensive, so we couldnt believe our good luck. The amenities were nice, we heard no noise from outside and slept very well. The streets behind the Magnificent Mile are filled with restaurants and bars, and the best stores are around the area.

I expected more from a Conrad. The rooms were very nice and the people were pleasant but there was a ""crispness"" to the service that was missing. Particularly annoying to wait 10 minutes for coffee/water at breakfast.

We called the hotel the day before we arrived to ask about parking. We were told the lot across the street charges $32/day and you have until 6pm on check out day included in that fee. When we left at 1:30, we were charged $64 ( 2 days parking). We would have taken the train if we had known this.
