Sleek decoration, not far from Olympic Village, Port and historical Barcelona neighborhoods. Poor public transportation other than taxis. Luxury hotel appearance at a good price

You will love this place - both for personal and business use it has a good location with easy access to main roads and very close to the beach. The environment is under development and should become a very trendy area of Barcelona.

New hotel, very clean, beautiful, great breakfast, nice view from the roof with a swimming pool. We had very big room with a glass walls on both sides which gave us great view to the city. Great service, quiet location and walking distance to the beach. Metro station is also two blocks away. Would definitely stay in this hotel again! Have nothing to complain at all.

I took a walk by the beach close to the hotel. For day trips, the closest subway is about a 10 min walk away, can get to anywhere in the city from there. The hotel itself is very satisfying, you can also walk to restaurants and shops within minutes.

Wonderful design hotel with an excellent service, good location and superb rooms. Definately worth a visit. Area around is still under development with some new appartment buildings - this is only negative point which should be resolved by Sept 2008

Rooftop pool and terrace was nice and so were the rooms. Nice and big room and a nice bar downstairs. Only a 10 min walk from the beach.

Quality accommodation Great base to see Barcelona. Very swish modern hotel, clean and comfortable. Great base to see Barcelona. Great roof top pool, with towels, busy at peak times I imagine. Location would not put me off at all, no problems with public transport links to centre.

Relaxing environment & Friendly StaffHad a great couple of days, staff spoke English which was a big help for me! were very helpful & informative. Hotel located 5 min walk to the beach, and 5 mins to the metro which was excellent service to the centre, although there are numerous cafes & bars close to the hotel. Would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a quiet location. If there was a down side that would be the lack of coffee & tea making facilities in the room ...... just a note Becareful (as in any city) for pickpockets, I had my credit card stolen in a bar called "Cheers" !! but Barcelona is beautiful and the locals are friendly.

The Hotel is a short train ride to Las Ramblas. It was quiet and they provided a decent Breakfast.Definitly would stay again. One block north of the Hotel is another "Ramblis"Where the locals go. Much less people and money

Worth a lookThis hotel may seem out of the way but its location is in fact ideal. You´re away from the tourist buzz and the tourist traps but still near the up and coming area of Poble Nou and just a few minutes walking gets you to the beach. The subway is nearby to get you into town. The hotel itself is a design-lover´s dream. The lines, angles, colours and furniture make it a feast for the eyes. The bedroom we had was warm, comfortable and well equipped tho´ why can´t hotels in Spain have kettles and tea for the Brits? The breakfast is 15 euros as is the lunch. Both offer good value for money and the food is great. The service is good and the roof top terrace is a treat when the sun is shining. Don´t be taken in by any photos of the pool. It´s tiny so if you´re looking for a real swim head to the sea!

Pros: Very clean, modern, decent price. Had to print out a copy of my airplane boarding pass in the morning, and they let me slip behind the desk to do it. Quite helpful. Cons: Hotel sign outside was being held together with string, looked like it had just gotten run over by a hurricane or something. Also, not at the fault of the hotel, we were woken up multiple times per morning by loud construction nearby. Reservation was for a full bed, but instead we got two twin beds - not very conducive to cuddling.

The hotel was quite along way from any of the tourist sites we spent a great deal of money on transport for our stay. The breakfast was not in our room rate and at about £12.50 per person it was extremely expensive, there was agreat deal of choice but a flat rate was charged even if you just wanted coffee and toast.there was no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms althought the mini bar had soft drinks in and was free.If we went to Barcelona again we would pay more for a more central hotel as when you added breakfast in this hotel was expensive.

The hotel was a beautiful, contemporary hotel. Very modern, clean. A pleasant surprise and a great value. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was a place to relax. The free minibar was an extra plus. However, our stay was still pleasant. Unfortunately, my son had to make a makeshift bed on the floor.

A reasonably good hotel. Good breakfast but expensive. One bad point was a dirty bed sheet.

Staff very helpful on the reception desk. The only problem we had was that at the end of the stay we were asked to pay for 3 telephone calls when we hadn't even used the telephone during our stay. Our account was amended accordingly. We liked the location of this hotel, which on first arriving at you wonder where on earth you are going, but it is close to shops and the beach and a nice stroll down to the marina.

Good location if you want the beach and a nice walk along the sea front to the bottom of los Ramblos. The metro only a short walk. Hotel was clean and although in a very residential area, there are lots of bars and restaurants nearby.

Fantastic hotel and staff were great.
